Mountain Roofing Systems was hired by our potential buyer to provide the roof inspection on our home. Their company said that our 50 year metal roof (which was under 20 years old) needed to be replaced, completely. The kicker, they provided a quote for a comp shingle roof on our 1300 sq ft home for $32k. Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, that buyer dropped out. We were in escrow on another home out of state already and the purchase was contingent on the sale of our home so we dropped the sell price to reflect possibly needing a new roof because that inspection report would stay with the house
