At Elizabethtown Dentistry for Children, we know that a lifetime of healthy smiles begins with a baby's first tooth. Our kid-friendly practice is built on a love for children and a desire for them to be comfortable with dentistry. It is our goal for our patients to receive the highest quality of care, in a positive environment, and to provide dental education for the entire family!
We're here to create healthy and beautiful smiles for all. All of our doctors completed several years of additional training, beyond dental school, to specialize in providing dental care that's specific to children. All of our kid-centered services are provided in a calm, caring environment in order to provide you and your child with a positive experience.

Services
Our goal is to help children, adolescents and those with special needs achieve optimum oral health through excellent and compassionate dental care. As a specialized pediatric dental practice, we take very seriously the responsibility of caring for children. By working in partnership with kids and parents, we believe every child can begin their life with a healthy smile.
Our compassionate staff delivers high-quality dental care and makes great efforts to alleviate any anxiety associated with dental visits. It's our goal to teach children how to establish good oral health habits to prevent additional treatment beyond cleanings, caused by cavities. When treatment is needed, our experienced doctors provide the safest options, in a local facility, within a timely manner.
Clean the area of the affected tooth. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water or use dental floss to dislodge any food that may be impacted. If the pain still exists, contact your child's dentist. Do not place aspirin or heat on the gum or on the aching tooth. If the face is swollen, apply cold compresses and contact your dentist immediately.

We have been going here for years (10+ )they just lost our business. This place use to feel more personable not anymore feels more like a factory. I understand communities grow and you become busy but don’t lose what got you there.
So if you have the opportunity to choose a different place I would highly recommend it. My first review I don’t leave these so you guys get the honors!!!!!!

I took my son here for an appointment today after they had rescheduled his appointments 3 different times being months apart. Just to be told once again we have to reschedule because we were a few mins late due to a funeral line. The receptionist was filing her nails and said we had missed too many appts but didn't mention the fact we hadn't missed them they were rescheduled 3 different time due to Dr. Murphy's surgery and being out. When I told her they had rescheduled so many times and my son can barely eat she said well who's faults that. Very unprofessional.

Can not thank the staff enough for welcoming my son in and helping calm him down. After having his prior dentist visits at another practice not go well they helped reassure him the dentist wasn't a scary place. They could tell how scared he was and how much he was physically shaking, they took their time and patience to explain everything they did. Thank you all so very much for changing how he feels about the dentist.

Our Experience was very unwelcoming. It felt like we were the problem and we were expected to just agree with what ever. The Office didn't know how to read our insurance coverage.
They are currently switching software so ill extend grace on this issue. However it really didn't help the customer experience when they didn't know how to use it. and seemed to take it out on the customers.
I didn't write this review right after the incident so I had time to think about. Your Front desk is one the most important roles. If your patience's don't feel Valued or that they are getting a value then we will

My daughter was bitten by a dog in the face and it caused dental issues on her front bottom teeth and all other dentist wanted to remove her teeth after 3yrs old. I came here for 2nd opinion and they worked with us as the gums grew back to keep her from loosing her baby teeth, they've been amazing since then with her and she is now 8years old.

For a pediatric practice they don’t seem to be very patient or welcoming. We never missed an appointment but failed to MAKE an appointment for a routine checkup in the fall and somehow that got us “black-listed” as when we tried to make an appointment and questioned the long wait time the receptionist said (twice) that they have better availability for parents who “stay on top of it” but not for us. Well,Alrighty then! It was recommended (pushed heavily) that our daughter go under general anesthesia at surgical center to have all of her dental work done at once. When we asked about in
