Conchester Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Boothwyn, PA area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Yenkinson, Dr. Lombardo, and Dr. Tracy who are all licensed, experienced Boothwyn veterinarians. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Conchester Animal Hospital was first constructed in 1960 deriving its name from the adjacent Conchester Highway. Dr, Mead Shaffer and Dr, . Donald Skinner conceived the idea while they were in the same class in veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shaffer's father was a stone mason by trade and with some additional help they literally built the original part of the hospital.
We have hours seven days of the week and see clients on an appointment basis. Please call to schedule your appointment. You will have the option of morning, afternoon, and evening appointments. Feel free to request the veterinarian of your choice or choose the next available appointment, whichever works best for you.
We have provided you with information on what to expect on the day your pet has a surgical procedure. It is required that you print and initial the last page and bring both pages with you the day of surgery. Remember: do not give your pet any food after 8 PM the night before surgery and no water after midnight.

My dog, Luna, just had her 2nd ACL repaired yesterday by Dr. Lombardo. Even though recovery is rough on the owner and dog, Conchester Animal Hospital is always there if you have any questions, concerns, or need advice. From Mandy and Sam, greeting you at the front desk/answering the phone to Dr. Lombardo taking time to call me back personally today to answer a concern I had, the whole office is wonderful! 🐾

Recently moved to the area and needed to have my two cats boarded while out of town for a week. My one cat is diabetic so very hesitant leaving him. Blown away with this place! Before taking the cats I asked for an estimate for their stay which someone stayed late past business hours to get us the final estimate we’d be paying. (Which was unexpected and very appreciated) The facility was very organized when dropping the cats off and we even received updates and photos a few days into my trip. When picking up my cats the staff was friendly and they loved having our babies with them…the price

I have high praise for the kindness , compassion and heartfelt sympathy that Dr Trey and his staff showed me and my family in what was a very difficult week for us. We put three dogs down in one week. Two in the same night. They gave us their best and we had to do what was right for them. When I get another dog I will definitely take him or her to their facility for I know they will get excellent care.

Couldn't believe they were willing to see us so late. Our 3 week old kitten had an infection. Even at 8p.m. every staff member was up beat and friendly - even when it turned out I had the wrong credit card on me. They waited patiently and with smiles while I waited for a family member to bring the correct one.

All the staff here really treat me and my fur baby so sweet and compassionately. They know him as soon as he walks in and get right to him. He hurt is leg a few months ago and it was late so I had to rush him to an emergency vet which charged like crazy and I left there knowing nothing. Had to take him here and they took x-rays and let me know he needs surgery and let me know about care credit. As we were getting ready to leave it started pouring and one of the techs offered to hold my dog 90lbs (big boy) while I pulled my car up closer and then walked me out with an umbrella. They are very caring
