Oh how I love photographing this fabulous family! The mountains were calling for this fall family portrait session, so they joined me in Evergreen, Colorado amongst the colorful aspens.

My grandfather took this photo (left), and it epitomizes something I try to give every family I photograph - a sliver of time, steeped in memory even for those who weren't there. Looking through the camera, I see the world a little differently. Somehow time moves a little slower, and the puzzle of the world seems to fall into place.
The thing about every couple getting married is, they blink. It's inevitable. So much goes into every detail of a wedding, then suddenly a ring is being slipped on your finger and you can barely see it through your watery eyes. The day you've been waiting for is a whirlwind of love coming at you from all sides - your oldest friends, your old and new family.
Authenticity is paramount for commercial photography, ensuring a message that will resonate. My commercial photography is often lifestyle-oriented, helping businesses communicate message (and emotion) on a deeper level.

a few reasons i dig marni:
- professional
- quick response time
- fair pricing
- disc of images (with a family package at least)
- quick turn time (received photos in a week!)
- works wonderfully with toddlers (she's a momma, she knows what to do for a smile)
