Tommy is a 6th generation Californian born and raised in the Northern California Bay Area. Tommy grew up exploring the wide variety of landscapes our coastal state has to offer and spent his summers at his Great Grandfather's hand-built log cabin in the Sierra Nevadas. Tommy gained an appreciation for the craftsmanship and techniques that were used in the early 20th century.
After studying Construction Management at Chico State University, he moved down to San Diego to start his professional career in the industry. With a background primarily in commercial tenant-improvement projects, he is familiar with working on demanding schedules and around occupied spaces. Tommy spearheads our Pre-Construction services and ensures that the field team can operate at its maximum capabilities.

We've worked with the Lakewood team on several projects this year including a 2000+ square foot home renovation in Pacific Beach and an extensive exterior renovation for a historical home in Mission Hills. The first home was taken down to the studs for a completely redone infrastructure, roof, HVAC system, new windows and doors, an exterior facelift, new lighting throughout, a new kitchen, 2 renovated bathrooms, a newly designed interior courtyard and fireplace, and the addition of a powder bath. The exterior project included all new hardscaping, a new pool and hot tub, new landscaping and lighting

Nothing but good things to say about working with Tommy and Darrick at Lakewood. They helped us with our taproom build out and truly left no detail unfinished. They were able to make on the fly decisions when needed and always kept us informed throughout the process. They even came out under budget and ahead of schedule! Truly unheard of in the industry.

Darrick and Tommy at Lakewood Builders helped me recently with some work in had done around my home. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I was always kept in the loop with what was going on, and their professional and prompt demeanor is something that is hard to come by these days in the construction industry. They were honest about their timeline, and they kept to it... also very rare. I will absolutely use them for my next project, and give them my highest recommendation.
