With over 148 active black belts, including 26 Master Rank practitioners, the breadth of knowledge and experience in the Blue Wave is unparalled. The passion and dedication of our members is clear. There are over 120 active black belts training at twelve different Blue Wave dojangs across Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine.
Services
The BVT Scholarship Fund has assisted Taekwondo students with tournament and seminar participation, tuition and testing payments, and other Taekwondo training expenses. The legacy of the Blue Wave Association's founder, Grandmaster Bruce V. Twing, continues through the BVT Scholarship Fund.

When Grandmaster Twing opened his school in 1969, he knew the positive impact that Taekwondo could have on an individual because he had experienced it for himself. He wanted to share this with as many people as possible, so he made it his goal to never turn away a potential student because of financial obstacles, or not to allow an individual to participate in Taekwondo events because he or she couldn't afford it.
Master Gordon W. White began training in Taekwondo in 1983 and became a student of Blue Wave founder Grandmaster Twing in 1986. In 1987 Master White trained in Korea for two months. After returning he won the 1988 AAU National Taekwondo Championships. In 1991 Master White moved to Korea and attended Yonsei University as an exchange student.
Bradford Blue Wave Taekwondo has existed in Bradford since the early 1990s. It is currently located at 210 Main St., in Bradford, affording better visibility and access to the public. After the passing of our former teacher and founder of our Groton gym Master Russell Tinkham, and the sudden loss of Master David Elder, Master Tom Robinson (Master Tinkham's teacher)has been an active supporter and an ongoing mentor. As Master Tinkham is well missed, we plan on using the same basic teaching method and continuing with our gym the same family orientated, safe, fun, high energy class as he ran it.
Hanover Blue Wave teaches traditional Korean Taekwondo in a family oriented environment.
