Kennesaw Mountain Dental Associates is a full service family dental practice serving the residents of Kennesaw and the surrounding areas. Our dentist, Dr. Hamir Contractor, earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. After practicing in Cleveland, TN and Cartersville, GA, he achieved his dream of opening his own dental practice in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2009.

Dr. Hamir Contractor graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He continued on at UNC Chapel Hill to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree in 2003. While in dental school, Dr, Contractor had the honor of being selected as the coordinator for the Student Health Action Coalition at UNC.

In these times of COVID-19 and various strains, the office follows strict protocols that gives you peace of mind for your safety concerns; the staff are very courteous and professional; Jonathan is the best when it comes to creating a budget that will allow you to get dental services needed without "breaking the bank"; Dr. Contractor is EXCEPTIONAL! He is so gentle and caring. He actually follows up with a telephone call to inquire how you are doing the day after a procedure. As there are other dental associations closer to my home than the 30-minute drive to Kennesaw Mountain Dental, I won't consider

Pleasant office, atmosphere was very clean and safe. The staff was very friendly, and well experienced. I was visiting my daughter on vacation, and since my stay was longer this time. She referred me to Kennesaw Mountain Dental associates which is her new dental provider for my continued dental care.
I must say I was very pleased with my service from the start with Laura making sure my insurance benefits were in place, and Kasey hygienist for providing the best deep cleaning ever along with instructions for home care.

The day after my wife had a procedure performed the billing department calls to say she is liable for nearly $2,000! We have paid a substantial amount already based on what we were told by Kennesaw Mountain dental what our out of pocket cost would be AFTER our insurance paid. This sounds like a negligent practice on their part to get proper approval from insurance.

Dr. Hamir Contractor replaced 2 crowns for me in late November that my previous dentist had placed improperly. I was not looking forward to the procedure but it went so much better than I had anticipated. Dr. Contractor is skilled and his equipment is top-notch. The staff members are friendly and helpful.

Going to the dentist is rarely fun but Dr. Contractor and the dental assistants that I've had have made the experience much more pleasant. Everyone is wonderfully nice and they do their best to put you at easy. They go through everything that is going to happen, different options that you might or might not be interested in and at the end they break it all down for you and give you a print out. I'm so glad I found them.

I was there for a visit in 2019 and signed a form to authorize them to take payment. Today on January 4, 2021 that payment was taken out. They claimed to have left me a voicemail (to my old phone number) stating that it would be taken out. Although they have my email address on file, no correspondence was sent to me. Now I’m out of money that I needed for more important things because they decided to wait over a year to take out payment. They’re only response is “you signed and we had to take it”. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have significant dental anxiety. They make me feel at ease and work with me and my anxiety. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Dr Contractor is a caring and kind dentists. He always calls the next day to ensure everything is ok. The hygienists are amazing and helpful. I never feel like they over charge. In fact at my last crown they did not have to do one thing that was on the estimate so they took it off. They are truly honest and caring people.
