There's a reason kindergarten teachers love working with the children who graduate from our schools. When we began School for Amazing Kids, we didn't ask ourselves, "How do we do this?" We asked ourselves, "How do we do this with excellence?" We've studied, we've researched, and we've talked to you.
The idea for School for Amazing Kids was born in early 1977 in a local McDonald's. Two starry-eyed high school seniors met after school to discuss what they wanted to be when they grew up. Cindy Gilliland told her boyfriend Bob Kuehner, "I'm gonna be a teacher." Bob responded, "I'm going to work in business."
School for Amazing Kids, Helena is a wonderful place. It's well maintained and the staff is very attentive, personable and great with communicating with us. I really like the many arts and crafts that they do with the kids and for the parents, as well all the activities that prepare for the kids each day.
Joseph and I just wanted to say, "thank you" for the help you provide our children. They all have a need to be loved by special people and that's why we chose the School for Amazing Kids, Weatherly. We never wonder about the quality of care and nurture that they're receiving when we leave them in your care.
There are SO many reasons why we love School for Amazing Kids, Calera with the number one being that my daughter loves being there! She is so excited ever Tuesday to get ready for swim day and on Wednesday's to visit the Kona Truck. She loves that each day brings new exciting things for her when she walks into the door of daycare.

My wife and I were trying to find a well-respected, safe, and highly recommended daycare for our 3 month old. We checked online reviews and asked as many people as we could in order to find the best place for our baby boy. Shepherd's Promise was the overwhelmingly popular choice.
They truly do make you feel like part of a family. They take wonderful care of each child as if they were their own. They have a fun learning environment for the kids and communicate with parents daily according to each child's specific needs and development.
Any concerns that my wife and I had before starting at Shepherd

My two children go to Shepherd's Promise. The teachers there are absolutely wonderful. They go above and beyond their job descriptions. They are so good with both my children that I know I can go to work and not worry about the quality of care they receive. When the kids are happy and don't want to leave when it is time to go home...you know they are well taken care of. I highly recommend Shepherd's Promise to other parents.

For parents who are looking for a daycare, Shepherd's Promise is absolutely the best. I love how secure the facility is which put my mind at ease as well as my husband's. I absolutely love how awesome the teachers are with the kids. My son comes home happy everyday which let my husband and I know he is in good hands.
Every morning, either me or my husband are greeted with a smile and as soon as we enter our son's classroom, his teachers are ready to play with him! We couldn't be more pleased with how our son has progressed since attending this school.
Every day, the teachers have activities for

I love Shepherd's Promise and am so grateful for them! I dreaded putting my son, Michael, in daycare when he was 2 but we were out of options because we both needed to work. We initially picked Shepherd's Promise because of it's convenient location. He started out in the 2 year old class with Mrs. Rebecca and we quickly fell in love! All of the teachers and directors welcomed us with open arms and are great at what they do. My son has learned so much since he has been there. He is now in 4k and he comes home everyday with something new to tell me. His writing skills have really improved and he

Both of my daughters have attended Shepherd's Promise since 2009, and satisfied does not begin to describe how happy we have been with our experience!
The constant throughout these past six years has been Melissa Greer. She took care of my youngest in the infant room and the relief I felt leaving my child with teachers who I knew truly CARED for them made it possible for me to go to work guilt free! Over the years all of the teachers have been great, but Melissa has been the leader among the rest of the staff the entire time! The night of the snowstorm in 2014, she took my daughter home along

Shepherd's Promise is a great daycare with a very clean facility. Most teachers are very nice and sweet and greet you as you walk in the door. However, a lady named Mellisa, who is in the infant 1 room, also gives us such a hateful look. She never says hi or even smiles (even when she's standing right in front of us). We have thought about switching to a new daycare because of her. Shepherd's Promise should never tolerate this kind of behavior because we as parents pay a lot to put our kids there while we are at work. She should at least shows a little bit of politeness towards us. I know a lot

My family has had a wonderful experience with Shepherd's Promise. Our daughter has been attending for one year. She has been in the toddler 2 class. During the first few months I was worried about her changing teachers but Shepherd's Promise teacher have been very consistent. I was very impressed with how they handled the changing of teachers due to maternity leave. The new teacher came in and shadowed to learn the routine and get to know the children and parents. I also like that Shepherd's Promise moves the children to new classes gradually. Our daughter is in the process of moving to a new class

Before making the switch to Shepard’s Promise we had been sending our son to a local private school. We were not seeing any signs of development further than what we worked with him on at home. When I had talked to people about local day schools that not only provide care and curriculum but safety, many people pointed me to Shepard’s Promise. I knew instantly when I walked past the younger class room of babies clapping and saying prayer before lunch this was where we were meant to be. After viewing the room my son would be in and meeting the teachers I had such peace and comfort that my son

We toured several other daycares before deciding on Shepherd's Promise. We love the staff and overall atmosphere of the center. Our son has been going there for a little over a year now and he loves it.
The teachers are very focused on learning. My son will come home and sing songs and count to numbers that I would think he would be too young to know yet. The bonds that he has created with several teachers is priceless. He is an only child (for a few more days :) and I love the interaction that he gets with the other kids.
This daycare is the best center that I have seen and the location is ideal

When my wife had another baby, she was really worried about taking a 8 week old to daycare since you usually hear so many horror stories. We knew that Shepherd's Promise was wonderful with our 3 year old son, but we were nervous about having our 8 week old there. On the first day back to work, my wife dropped our 8 week old daughter off and everyone there was very supportive and reassuring. They made her feel comfortable dropping off our baby and helped her feel not guilty in doing it. Since then, we have had nothing but good come from having our daughter grow up in this daycare. She is loved and

My child went there for a year. It was not until the last month that they started handing out daily activity sheets (what they ate, when they slept, what they learned). I've found out since that this is a very standard practice at all reputable daycares. You may find reviews of them on other sites...it is because they pay their customers to write good reviews of them (credit off your bill)...don't you want a place that gets good reviews solely on their merit and not "buying" good reviews???

But probably the most disturbing thing is their leadership, or lack of. Most of the

SHEPHERD'S PROMISE is a wonderful, christian and family oriented child care facility!! My daughter has been at Shepherd's Promise since she was 2 years-old (4 yrs old now) and has learned so many things that children her age typically don't know. We were at another facility for the 1st two years of her life and after my daughter began having panic attacks every morning when we pulled out of the daycare, I knew it was time to change! I searched and searched and when I walked in the doors at Shepherd's Promise, I knew this would be our new daycare. Shepherd's Promise has
