These guys are quick! Used them for a cross country move & they were great. When my stuff got to NYC, my couch was too large for my building so Oz even has a carpentry entity that will cut up the couch & rebuild it inside your apartment- GENIUS. All of the guys were friendly and it was an easy move.

Great and efficient moving company, at least cross city. My roommate and I were trying to book a sort of last minute (we started asking for quotes a month ahead) move, and found Oz to be the cheapest by far. They were fast and efficient to move all our boxes and furniture from midtown to downtown Manhattan. Nothing was broken and they handled everything with care. For crosstown moves I definitely recommend them!

Today, Oz Moving company delivered my furniture. We had initially set a virtual walkthrough to get an estimate. Once they came to pack our stuff, they charged us $2,500 more than the estimate, which means you cannot trust their estimate process. While packing, after I bought the crew lunch and was throwing the trash away, I saw they had broken… glassware and had not bothered to mention it or to tell us. I had also set aside important documents in a bag and told them not to pack it. This accidentally got packed.
The sales person told us delivery would be Oct 27th to Oct 30th. My furniture

They were on time, professional, careful, knew what they were doing, and honestly the best movers we ever used! The pricing was reasonable, and the service we received was above and beyond what I expected! We have moved several times and have some horror stories with movers so I went into this move on edge. They were seriously the best and when we move again it will be Oz moving all the way!

I used Oz Moving company 2 years ago when I moved from Yonkers to the Bronx. The guys who moved me at the time were amazing and I had only great things to say so of course, I could not wait to use them again when I moved from the Bronx to White Plains 3 weeks ago. When the movers arrived (different guys from the last time), they did not have the proper boxes to package my items that I paid extra for. The movers came and were on point and packed the remaining items. Their leader was organized. I was so impressed, and then everything fell apart, literally!!
We were doing a long-distance move, so apparently, they store your items in storage. They then tell you they will email you with an update when they are about to be placed on a truck. I still have not received that email. They were actually loaded onto a truck after the delivery window.
Once the delivery driver had the items. OZ had no clue of where they were or when they would be delivered. They would have to try and get a hold

They had better reviews than most so I hired them for a move, even though they are more expensive than many. They gave me a 12 day window within they would complete the move (it was an interstate move). I made plans based on this window. Stupid me!
Since I did not hear a thing from them a couple days before the end of the window, I sent them an email, I got a terse response back essentially stating they will let me know when they know. I thought a call would be better. Ha! Over multiple days everyone I talked to gave me the same response. We don't know, we are working on organizing the trailer

Last week I hired Oz to pack and move me from NYC to Connecticut. Minase, Alex, and Jorge were the guys who managed the move. They were not only highly professional, they were also efficient, careful with my belongings, and personable. Moving is highly stressful, but Minase and team had everything under control and reassured me that the move would go smoothly. And it did. Highly recommended.

Had a short distance move, and they broke more items than they didn't. They sent a team to "repair" the items they broke, which left our dining room table in MUCH worse condition than if they hadn't touched it at all after damaging it. It had multiple scratches (from the move) and they just sanded it to oblivion, so it's not flat anymore. We eat on a hill now.

I had been stressing about moving for weeks, toiling over how the actual day would unfold, a feeling anyone who has ever moved is familiar with. Would my couch fit through the door? Would it rain? Would they be able to park outside on the street? Would everything fit into the truck? Etc...
