Services
Pete is the owner of A Better You Fitness and Wellness. He has been in the fitness industry in some capacity for over 25 years. He has been at it full time since 2008. In addition to running the business, he still makes time to train clients and teach classes. He is our certified tai chi instructor, and specializes in injury prevention, pre-surgical, post-rehab and elder training.
Mobility is one of your biggest physical assets. It's what allows you to get around smoothly and pain free. It's the feature that makes the single biggest difference between aging well and feeling limited in your activities. Often, we don't think much about our balance until it starts to deteriorate.
Body Awareness - the more you are aware of your body, the better you'll treat it, the better it will treat you! Build a Deeper Sense of Community - Meet new people who will encourage you to be the best you you've ever been! Reduce Stress & Anxiety - Times are hard! Exercise is proven to improve mood and reduce negative feelings related to stress, anxiety and depression.
The Functional Fitness Evaluation is the cornerstone of our training process at A Better You Fitness & Wellness. During our time together, we will discuss your lifestyle and goals, as well as your exercise and health histories. We will talk about roadblocks you have faced in the past, as well as how we can help you avoid them in the future.

Signing up for training at A Better You Fitness and wellness is one of the best decisions I have made for my health. After struggling to find training methods that worked for me after an injury, the team helped put together a personalized plan that has helped me make significant improvements in my fitness abilities. I’m a longtime client at A Better You. Pete, Leslie and John are the reasons I have continued the long-standing program of exercise and Tai Chi.
They are very knowledgeable, always helpful and make sure that we are capable of doing something or suggest a progression or regression of form if it’s needed. And just as important, it’s really fun, friendly and not intimidating at all as many gyms can be. Highly recommend if u want to sustain an exercise program or practice tai chi for a healthier, happier, longer life
