Recovering from an illness or surgery is never easy, but at Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center we strive to get you back to your everyday life as quickly and as worry-free as possible. Our rehab and nursing staff have years of experience with many types of elective surgeries as well as those situations you find yourselves in that are not so elective.
I've been in long-term care for over 20 years and this is the best place I've ever worked. We work together as a team to accomplish our goal of providing outstanding customer service. This place is not only efficient for rehab - you bond with the physical therapist and the nurses. Everyone is like family - this includes the administrator and the staff as a whole.

My mother stayed in this facility and it was a constant battle. The care started out as subpar. Then when we fussed they went to her room and fussed at her and told her she lied on them. Then she was afraid to even say anything. Some of the staff was great but others are bullies and lazy. This may be true for most places but should not be in this type of place. The facility was beautiful and clean. The good reviews really had us expecting a level of care that wasn’t there.

My mother Ruby R. was admitted to Conover Nursing Home four years ago. The first time I walked into the facility I was very impressed and welcomed. My soul felt good for my mother and I knew she was in a clean, good, god loving and professional environment.
From the administration, down to their cleaning services technicians, you couldn't ask for a better bunch of people to be taking care of a loved one. They all truly care and love the patients. It isn't a fake love, it's an honest, sincere love.

I wish there was a zero star button. I've been staying the night here with my great grandmother so she feels more comfortable and every single person who works on third shift is extremely lazy and rude. There is no sense in having to press her bottom several times in a matter of almost 5 minutes whenever I know for a fact that there's nurses and CNA's playing on their phones in the hallway. I opened the door and had to go get a nurse to take my great grandmother to the bathroom because apparently the alarm that goes off is ignored by everybody. Not to mention, the past 2 nights, a woman up the
