Installing solar means access to local rebates and federal tax grants and 100% depreciation incentive. It's definitely news when a company installs solar on its facility, since solar has a very positive image in the media. Solar has a major environmental impact - 9000 sq ft of panels equals an offset of 24 autos each year.
While referred to as Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in our industry, it refers to Lithium-ion batteries for most of us. Batteries provide electricity during power outages or substitute for grid power when utility rates are high. Battery backup systems coupled with solar are being hailed as the best solution to public safety power shutoffs in California - not to mention our archaic electric grid.

The answer is: "Absolutely!" The more important question is: "How much?" Then the answer is: "It depends on who you ask". You see, up until recently, the only reference was an outdated real estate report that was over 10 years old and an older study by the U.S. Department of Energy.

A more recent NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) report, in what has been deemed the most detailed study to date, determined that buildings with solar panels sold on average 20% faster and commanded a 17% premium price than their non-solar equivalents.

I was remodeling my house and in the market for solar panels at the same time. I was introduced to Vaha by a friend, and glad that I was! Gaye and Geoff were very professional and helpful throughout the process. They helped me compare various configurations -- different panel sizes, different manufacturers, batteries, etc and came up with a system that was the best for me and my wallet. They then worked with my contractor and roofer to make sure that the wires were run through the walls (instead of conduit like most post-construction installs) and the panels integrated with my roof. Overall, very

I started my research into solar panels a year and half ago, I reviewed and analyzed 8 different companies to buy solar from. Vaha Energy was the best value that I was able to find while using LG 310 panels. Gaye Tomlinson was my contact, I found her extremely professional and knowledgeable. I now have had my solar panels for a complete year. The electricity being produced is right in line with what Gaye had told us. With the 30% Federal tax credit by break even without taking inflation into consideration is 4.7 years. The crew that installed my system back in September 2016 was surprisingly

I purchased solar panels through Vaha back in 2013. At first, I didn't think I could afford to "purchase" so I was looking to lease; however, Vaha showed me the numbers and interest-free loan (for one year) that was available which made the purchase a reality for me. My family are energy "hogs" and had a 2-month Anaheim Public Utilities bill that was approximately $800! That was the last straw, so I looked to energy efficiency options. My pre-solar average utility bill was around $250-$300 a month; I've had the solar panels installed by Vaha for over 3 years now
