Shelly True Dance Academy offers classes for students age 3 through adult. Classes range from ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, jazz funk, hip hop, musical theatre, and turns. We also offer Poms Intensive and Denver Bronco Cheerleader Prep classes which consist of stretch & strength, turns, progressions and choreography.
Our three studios offer floating floors, marley flooring as well as wall to wall mirrors. Recognized on both regional and national levels, Shelly True has earned many accolades and choreography awards for its work and creative direction. We believe in fostering a safe place for dancers to learn and to grow.

Services
Shelly is currently the Choreographer and Assistant Director for the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. Shelly has 3 Super Bowl wins under her belt with many American Bowls in Barcelona, Tokyo, Mexico City and London. Shelly has traveled the world with the Bronco Cheerleaders entertaining our troops in countries such as Afghanistan, Egypt, Jordon, Cuba, Australia, Guam, Japan and many more.
Auditions are held for new company dancers on an individual basis with Shelly Trujillo, June - summer camp. After auditions/summer camp, the dancer will be placed in one of our 5 competitive companies. Placement is based on the individual dancer's technique and ability level. Company choreography this year will take place the month of August.
The 2017 Emmy Award winner and six-time Emmy-nominee Mandy Moore is a world-class Director, Producer, Choreographer, and Dancer best known for her ground-breaking work as a producer and choreographer on the global television hit So You Think You Can Dance. In 2017 she made history by being the first choreographer to choreograph for the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, ACADEMY AWARDS, the GRAMMY AWARDS, and EMMY AWARDS in the same year!
Shelly True Dance Academy does not mail out information packets or billing statements. All studio information is sent out as email, so please make sure we have an email address for you on file that you check. All recital info goes out via email as well. Students are registered and their place is held in class for the entire school year, from the date the registration form is signed through the end of June recital.

This is an amazing studio from the owner to the teachers to the studio manager. They care about the kids and work to develop important qualities in the kids that they will be able to carry forward. The teachers teach to the level of the kids. The studio also puts on amazing recitals. If you want a good dance studio in the Denver-metro area, I highly recommend this studio.

A truly amazing studio that inspires kids, teaches discipline, promotes well being, and creates lifelong memories. Shelly and Sandra are lovely ladies, and the dancers are very respectful and hardworking. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone curious or passionate for dance. It's also a great way to introduce fitness and health as a part of daily life. They also help prepare those looking to pursue a professional career in dance, by bringing in a range of instructors from other places in the world as well. Dancers grow to become very versatile and dynamic performers.

Avoid at all costs. Studio abutts a peaceful neighborhood and the owner plays music excessively loud destroying the tranquility of the neighbors who have lived there long before the owner received a political favor and had the zoning changed that allowed the placement of the only business in a pure residential area. The owner refuses to work with the neighbors who have lived in their homes decades before the dance studio arrived.
