David graduated from Saint Francis University in the mountains of Pennsylvania with his Master's degree of Occupational Therapy at the age of 23. Passionate from the start about the complexity of the hand's grace, it's diversity of skill, and it's capacity for power, David has specialized solely on rehabilitating and enhancing the function of the hands and upper limb for the past 14 years.
The hand holds a unique place in our lives as our only creative connection to the world around us. It is undeniable that man's success as a species is directly related to the sophistication and precision of this powerful and graceful appendage and the way we use our hand is as unique and variable as the finger prints it leaves.

This place is truly remarkable. I have visited 3 different therapy centers and this place makes you feel very welcome. The staff is very professional and very friendly, especially Susan, who performs her work in an outstanding way since she knows how to listen and explain objectively and easy at the same time, I have no words to thank the good treatment received by all of them, keep it up Hands Plus.

Best therapy I have ever received, highly recommend this business. All of the staff are amazing, kind, attentive, and caring. Owners are top notch and they have two locations to serve their clients. They don't just give you exercises and walk away , they push your progress appropriately and are supportive, they listen, they care, they are involved to meet your healing needs.

I've only been once. That being said I chose not to return. The RPT I was assigned to didn't seem to know much. Always checking for advice from senior staff.
I decided to go to another PT group. Oh my goodness, like night and day.

When I'm in severe pain I don't want a student. Sorry. I am paying for a professional. I don't mean any harm, but after my 2 hour initial consult w someone that is seasoned there's just no comparison.

Everything about Hands plus is nothing short of amazing! I had therapy on my shoulder after a painful surgery and on my wrist and elbow pre surgery, I have to say I learned more from my therapist than any doctor! They honestly made my bad situation not so bad!! I could go on for hours! As soon as I walk in the door it’s like family!! I’ll definitely refer whoever I can and I’ll be back after my next surgery!! Who looks forward to therapy?? This girl does!!

First of all, there are two Davids so it may cause some confusion in the beginning. Both are super knowledgeable and spent more time to explain anatomy and potential problems than the doctors I had. David Girard actually discovered a serious issue preventing motion, which had gone undetected by several doctors and radiologists at two hospitals, and referred me to a renowned surgeon who will make the repair. The staff also creates a fun environment with good music playing (most of the time; it's subjective) to distract from the discomfort of recovering from a serious injury. I have another

Hi this review is like three years late. I broke my hand punching a stucko wall three years ago, it was about a girl of course. to what looked like beyond repair. Miserable, post-surgery unable to use my dominant hand, I walked into Hands Plus dejected unable to even bend my fingers. yelp and decided to try hands plus and David Girard. David was very
patient and answered all my questions about my treatment and
explained the science behind it. He is skilled and progressed my

I was a student of Dave's at Hands Plus Physical Therapy. Since that experience, I've worked in a few hand therapy clinics and I have to say that nowhere comes close to the individualized attention and care you receive at Hands Plus Physical Therapy. David & David actually listen to their patients and their needs. I learned from them that a patient isn't an elbow or a wrist that needs fixing. They see the person as a whole and take into consideration their patients daily life when customizing their therapy sessions.

Came here out of worker's comp for repetitive motion injuries in my hands/arms/wrists a couple months. Previously I was getting therapy at another clinic and it helped a bit, but I wasn't seeing much progress so I got sent here. After my sessions, I started seeing a lot more progress and I don't feel nearly as much pain as I used to! In addition to some helpful stretches and exercises for my wrists, they also gave me some good exercises for my general posture since it's all connected.

My wife has had lower back pain, caused by rear end auto accidents, for ages. She's been through countless methods of therapy, including pain medication injections, Chiropractors, and more than one spinal operation, none of which seemed to do much lasting good.
David Girard was recommended for potential relief therapy, so we gave him a try. David Hubert is excellent! I had a few surgeries and have gone to several theraphy places but this is by far the best. His theraphy is helping me to get rid of the constant pain and I am sure I will continue to improve. His staff is friendly and very accommodating.. I love the extended hours. I've been to a few different Physical Therapists over the years and I've never been real impressed with any of them. That is until I found Hands Plus Physical Therapy. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The therapists are enthusiastic and knowledgable. And they don't leave you in corner to fend for yourself! The assistants are equally as enthusiastic and keep you on track! When I started coming here I became optimistic about my recovery from back surgery. Now I feel a great improvement in my level of pain, flexibility and strength. I owe it all to them!

I have been to several PTs over that past several years and the level of personal attention you get at Hands Plus is unlike any other in the area. Everyone from Liz at the front desk, Christine and both Dave's are great! Dave Hubert worked with me on my frozen shoulder and got my range of motion back on track. It was hands on and different each time depending on how I was feeling that day, not like other places that are cookie cutter, just do the same exercises every time and maybe see the therapist for 5-10min at the end. I would absolutely recommend Hands Plus!

After a wrist TFCC injury and surgery I started therapy at Hands Plus and they are by far the best! I was completely apprehensive about trying them as I had been to other therapists before with no success, but working with David Hubert has been a wonderful experience. Ive seen great improvement in my wrist after surgery and am looking forward to more sessions with him.

David has been helping me recover from a crush injury to my dominant wrist. After working with 2 other OT people and not getting much better, my surgeon suggested this business. Whoa, am I ever thankful for that! I have made more progress (primarily due to David's experise) than I had made with the previous 2 therapists combined. He is not only incredibly experienced and skilled, but patient, kind and empathetic.
