Services
Dr. McNelis is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner/founder of Changes Psychological Services, PLLC. She graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, completing a BA/MA program in General Psychology. She then went on to complete a second Master's degree and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from American University, also in Washington, DC.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a solution-focused, goal-oriented and evidence-based treatment that focuses primarily on the here-and-now. It is designed to empower clients to improve overall functioning by learning to better manage symptoms, acquire positive coping strategies and maintain lasting change.
Changes Psychological Services, PLLC is an in-network provider for all Blue Cross Blue Shield plans (HMO, PPO, FEP). We also accept Georgetown University Student Health Insurance (GUSHI) and process claims on behalf of our clients. During your initial phone consultation, we will verify your mental health insurance benefits.
