Her vision was to create a place where the community could come together to receive advice (and hope) on health and nutrition topics, have access to supplements and vitamins, and choose from a variety of healthy food options.Abby's Health & Nutrition is more than your neighborhood health food store.

I have been a sporadic customer for many years. This is long standing health food store that has an amazing selection of cold pre-made foods, hot foods, soups, fresh salads and juices. Expect to pay premium pricing. If you can't find it they will try and get it for you. Knowledgeable staff, huge selection, great food and super fresh. Their chicken soups are amazing and seem to have secret healing powers.

Yesterday I went to Abby's. None of the employees were wearing face mask and very few of the customers were wearing a mask. After I left the store my wife who was waiting outside told me there is a sign saying that face masks are not required in the store. I now realize that Abby's is actively discouraging the use of face masks. I find this totally irresponsible, especially for a "health" food store.

Abby's Health and Nutrition store is a hidden GEM! I travel over 30 minutes one way to this store because it is worth it! All department personnel are pleasant, helpful and customer service oriented. The Café is truly unique and they have a wide variety of choices to meet most dietary preferences. I really like that their Café food items are freshly made with the highest quality ingredients and available for in-person dining or carry out. The store is very clean and the environment is welcoming. Thank you to the entire team at Abby's for all you do to serve the community!

I'm vegan so I was happy about the options but the workers made me feel uncomfortable to shop I kept getting awkward stares the entire time. I really would like to come back but I highly doubt it after the experience I had it's a nice store with great options but I have to feel comfortable where I shop.

If you have dietary issues or if you're just a health nut this is the place for you. I have a gluten intolerance and I'm vegan on a low fiber, low fat diet so it can be a challenge finding things to eat, not here! I was literally overwhelmed because this was the first time I had been in a store that I could eat pretty much anything in there. That's something we take for granted, being able to go to the grocery store and pick up whatever we want and take it home to eat it. So going to this store and having such a huge selection was so awesome and I cannot wait to get back in there. Also about half

I discovered this store in December. I've been trying to eat as organic as I can, which is how I ended up there. Yesterday was my 2nd visit. I like going there when I can, but that isn't super frequently since it's a little pricey at Abbys. I do feel the quality is higher than the organic line at Publix though, so I will continue to pop into Abbys when I can.
The 1st time I went I got a little welcome bag. They also have some interesting, informative reading material in their Abby's health magazine.
They also have some really cool events listed on their website I want to

I went to Abbys yesterday and at first I did not think much of it, that is people not wearing masks. However, when I realized the employees were not enforcing the customers to wear masks I thought it was crazy considering it is a "health store". The worst part was that the employees were not all wearing masks! I go to check out and the woman who was checking me out said that she "had underlying conditions so therefore could not wear a mask". I said that should preclude her to wear one even more. Then a woman behind me checking out comes up to check out without one. What the

Abby's looks great on their website. The real turnoff is when they have an item on their monthly sales flier and they no longer carry that item (specifically Brown Cow Yogurt). This is actually an illegal practice of Bait and Switch.
I went there specifically for that item. I can not find it anywhere in Tampa. I am EXTREMELY upset.
I also looked for any seitan products from which I could make fake chicken wings. They don't carry it.
All I can say is (as a vegetarian since 1981) I will NOT be shopping there again.

I really love the diversity a good organic store has to offer. Abby's is one of them--I was able to find some beautiful rainbow chard. Also, a nice large head of cauliflower. Which both were more than I expected in size and price.
I also purchased a tuna wrap that was delicious. It cost about $9.00. They have an area where they serve hot meals--I would go back to try those items.
The store was very clean and the sales-people were very helpfull.

Came here based on a recommendation from a colleague. This is a nutrition store/health food store with a cafe in the rear of the store. The cafe does have seating available for dining in. You walk up and order any of the food displayed in the fresh case or they have a salad bar, smoothies, burritos, bowls and acaci bowls. Any of the food in the display is fresh made and warmed so you can eat there. At first, appeal to the food was not there. Nothing really looked enticing but I chose the spinach quiche with some cilantro rice and black beans. I paid over $8 for my meal pictured which is a bit pricey

Vitamins, minerals, protein powders, supplements, organic produce...the list goes on and on. A visit for me to Abby's is always a health-inventory check. I can, and have, spent an hour there when all I stopped in was for one thing.
Aside from their extensive vitamin supplement selection, their organic produce and grocery supplies, there's also a grab-n-go cold case as well as a hot-food deli area where you may enjoy your selection in their dining-room atmosphere. They carry brands and items which are carried by few local retailers. Essiac tea and Seitenbacher German cerals, to name

I really enjoy coming to Abby's for lunch and sometimes even dinner. I've enjoyed the well cooked meals, the healthy shakes, juices and smoothies. The soups are my fave; namely the chicken chili soup.
Customer service is great and it's just a pleasant atmosphere over all.
I like to get my essential oils here. The employees are knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to accommodate you with your needs and wants as it pertains to items they carry.

I'm updating my previous review to take back what I wrote about not gaining anything from customer appreciation weekends. During the most recent celebration I won two raffles and left with a bag full of free samples and coupons! The store was packed with knowledgeable vendors offering bites of healthy vittles and product literature. Worth visiting if you're a fan of holistic living.

Why 5 stars? Because this is an excellent place to shop when being healthy.

As a person who works for Yelp, the only thing bad about my job is that it's nearly impossible to keep weight off. Abby's is an awesome resource to help me with my "problem," and it certainly doesn't hurt that it's located very close to my house!
What an interesting parking lot that it resides in: to support this health & nutrition market, you have YouFit, which happens to be our gym. But on the other hand, you have 4Rivers, Jeremiah's and Smallcakes. 2 steps

When visiting Abby's to pick up vitamins, health and beauty products or groceries Cafe Eden is a must stop.
I always grab some sort of green juice. They recently started adding chia seeds to any juice or smoothie for free. I also add the green powder which gives some sweetness without guilt to a healthy drink.
From the bar I love the curry chicken salad and orzo pasta.
I haven't taken a class or attended a lecture at Abby's, but they're available and I would if I had more free time. I actually like to keep the Abby's magazine in the bathroom at home! I know TMI, but
