The name Solus was derived from the Gaelic word for light, or knowledge, reflecting our company's mission to share our knowledge of lighting with the design, construction and distribution community. Originally formed as a team of eight, Solus quickly grew into a super-team of talented industry professionals with the shared goal of adding value to the design and construction industry in Portland and Southwest Washington.
