Valley Packaging Industries (VPI) is a community rehabilitation center that provides a variety of human services and vocational skills training to Fox Valley residents and manufacturing-related business services to private industry. Valley Packaging is the result of a partnership created more than 60 years ago with parents of people with disabilities, local manufacturers, and human service providers.

Valley Packaging's story dates back to 1956 when visionary L.C. Smith, along with Al Briggs and parents of people with disabilities believing people with special needs and disadvantaged circumstances could lead more independent lives, established the company based on this concept and welcomed his very first customer.
Over its 60+ years in business, Valley Packaging Industries has developed an excellent reputation for consistent quality. Valley Packaging Industries has spacious operating facilities and satellite warehouses located in Appleton, Wisconsin. These modern, open facilities are located and designed specifically to provide maximum use, flexibility, efficient logistics, and close access to multiple transportation options.
With more than 800,000 square feet of packaging, production and warehouse space and a workforce of up to 500 employees, VPI can accommodate customers of all sizes.Valley Packaging's locations are conveniently located near major highways and Valley Transit mass transportation routes. VPI's facilities offer dozens of loading docks, logistics, capabilities, and ample trailer parking.

For products that require direct exposure and handling and in compliance with the applicable sections of FDA Regulations 29CFR 820, VPI offers both Isolated Production Areas and Secured Isolated Production Areas separate from the main production floor. These areas contain a variety of high-speed packaging equipment, trained workers, and a wide variety of capabilities.
Often performed in our isolated packaging area, gusset bag sealing is a packaging method that tucks and seals the packaging material to give it a clean, square bottom that encloses and protects the contained product. Specializing in point of purchase (POP) displays of all varieties, Valley Packaging Industries assembles hundreds of thousands of displays per year.
