For after hours emergencies, please call 936-639-1825 for instructions for contacting the on-call doctor. After hours service is available to established clients of Southwood Drive Animal Clinic only. We do not provide after hours service for clients of other Veterinary clinics. To be considered an established client, we must have seen a patient for you, during regular office hours within the past three years.

Everyone is so friendly and kind. Doesn’t matter what time of day you call or show up!!! I love them and my fur babies do too. I brought my sweet cat Jack in for a blocked urethra. I'd previously taken him to another vet who's treatment practices were questionable and literally and verbally gave Jack a death sentence. Dr Penn and his staff saved my sweet kitty boy and he's now home. if I had stuck with the other vet, I would have already had to bury him. The doctors and staff at Southwood Drive Animal Clinic are professional, compassionate and truly care about the animals in their care and I won't make the mistake of taking one of my fur babies to anyone else again.
