Services
Dr. Lott, a native of East Texas, attended Texas A&M University where he received two Bachelor of Science degrees-one in animal science and one in veterinary science. He also attended veterinary school at Texas A&M and graduated with honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Upon graduation, he began mixed animal practice at Ward Animal Hospital in Nacogdoches.
At Appleby Sand Road Animal Clinic, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions. We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals. You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.
After hours emergency fees are due at the time of services and will need to be paid to the on call doctor. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.

Dr Lott and staff are the best-there’s no way we could ever thank them for all they’ve done for us through the years. Our doggies have lived longer, better lives because of Dr Lott. He will research it, figure it out, do whatever he can to make your doggie better. We’ve been taking doggies to vets for many, many years; after we found Dr Lott long ago, we knew we’d never use anyone else. (And he’ll take the time to explain whatever it is in terms you can understand.)

I am feeling very blessed we moved here in May and this is the most recommended vet. They unfortunately were not at the time taking new clients but the other day they said yes!!! I understand why they are so highly recommended. The care they showed for my baby was beyond. And they were focused on what was best for this sweet 15 year old pup!!

Dr. Lott and Staff are top notch in my book. They have been taking care of my babies for about 15 years or more (without checking my records). Three of my babies have crossed the rainbow bridge with Dr. Lott… and staff’s gentle ways. They are now taking care of my Malachi “Bandit” and Maltipoo “Lilly”.
