Infants rely on sensory stimulation for much of their learning and development. We focus on providing and implementing learning plans based on the needs, interests and development levels of each child in the classroom. Children will learn through hands on experiences and through play. The children will be introduced to finger painting, music, sign language, numbers, colors, and fun science activities.
This is the age of independence. Some of the self-help skills we will work on will be: sitting at the table to eat, drinking from a non-sippy cup, using utensils at meal time, potty training. Here children begin to follow a more structured environment for learning. Each day, children will have a daily routine that includes choice time, small group and large group learning times.

Services
The International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons was founded in 1886 in New York by Margaret Bottoms. Their mission: "The development of Christian activity and service, quietly fulfilling the needs that come in hand." In 1889, the West Virginia Branch was formed by the Wheeling Circles organizing to open a child-care center for working women.
The most important goal of our early childhood is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. Our goal is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners.
Our programs are popular so at most times of the year there are waitlists for each of our five age groups. We encourage you to join the waitlist well in advance of the time you will want to enroll. Please include your name, phone number and email. For your child, please include full name and birthdate.
Traditional Hong Kong style dragon boats are 46-feet long, with 10 seats and 20 people. A drum seat in front of the first two paddlers (seated beside each other) holds a drummer - you want the smallest, loudest, most rhythmic person you can find. A steerer (provided) guides the boat with the steering oar in back.

30 years ago I made an electric locked security gate.
That secured an outside play area from public access.Or children exiting to the driveway or street.
The spaces were tight.
So there has never been an any incidents in 30 years with the 1200 lb electric latch.
Everyone in the staff has always been friendly and nice. Also vigilant when I had dropped off or picked up my children there.
So on the Sunny side they are commissioning me make a big 4 foot daisy scupture for their expanded play garden area.

My son attended TKD from 18 months until it was time for kindergarten. He even went through the pre k program here. I can't say enough good things about this daycare. Caring and loving employees. You always know what's happening with your child. This place is a well oiled machine. I wish he was still young enough to attended because I have never found any place I loved as much. Keep up the good work gang!!!!
