Your Child's Place is a specialized pediatric child care center for infants and children who demand skilled nursing care while their parents or caregivers are at work or school. Our Registered Nurses and Child Care Professionals treat serious ongoing illnesses or chronic conditions that require constant or periodic medical treatment or the use of medical devices.
If your infant or child requires daily skilled nursing care, Your Child's Place offers individualized pediatric care and education in a friendly, safe environment. You can feel good knowing that we are licensed by the Department of Health as a Pediatric Extended Care Center and the Department of Human Services as a Child Care Center.
The Creative Curriculum is a research-based program that has clearly defined learning objectives for children from infant through preschool age and is cross-walked with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards to ensure that each child is realizing their maximum learning potential. Through this program, children experience all levels of play that are essential to learning.
Children who need continuous or periodic monitoring with an acute need for outpatient rehabilitation or nursing care. Children who have long-term medical needs including those who need short-term care in a supervised environment until they recover, are ventilator-dependent, or recently underwent surgery.
In order to get your child approved for admission at Your Child's Place, the Clinical Director must first collect information about the child that will aid in approval by the insurance company. The admission process can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks for authorization. We currently accept most insurance plans.
