E.S. Johnson Builders is a Lake Norman Luxury Custom Home Builder and has been building and designing beautiful homes of character throughout he Lake Norman and Charlotte, NC area for over a quarter century. Eric Johnson is originally from Rochester, New York and attended McQuaid Jesuit High School.
Days after graduating Eric's family moved to the town of Brevard, NC and he enrolled at Appalachian State University where he graduated from the Walker Business college in Economics and Finance. During the summers Eric worked as a framing contractor and landscaping contractor. Here began his love of construction and design.

Since 1964 people have been happily building and enjoying Lake Norman, known as the "inland sea" just a few miles outside of Charlotte, NC. Lake Norman hails 530 miles of splendid shoreline. However, this 53 years of enjoyment and prosperity have left little opportunity for new homes. Thus, Lake Norman 2.0, the rebuilding of its current residences and creating new opportunities for living.
