I am writing to share with you some very exciting news concerning our dental practice. I say "our" because it not only includes me and the staff but you as my patients and friends as well. I will be transitioning my practice to someone I trust to take care of you all. I would like to introduce to you my nephew, Dr. Anthony (Tony) Don.

Dr. Phillip Don utilizes the highest quality equipment and materials, including custom, gold alloy crowns and digital x-rays. Digital x-rays are proven to be a more effective diagnostic tool using less radiation. Because your comfort is crucial, nitrous oxide, headphones, iPods, and even movies are on hand.
Don is the best dentist I have ever been to, his office staff is amazing, and they always do everything they can to make sure I'm comfortable. One of their best qualities is that they are on time, there is no 30 min wait in the lobby and another 30 min in the room waiting for him to show up like at many dental offices in Tucson.
Bridge - A false tooth or teeth, known as a pontic, which is fused between two porcelain crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth or teeth. The two crowns holding it in place that are attached onto your teeth on each side of the false tooth. This is known as a fixed bridge. This procedure is used to replace one or more missing teeth.
Teeth that are badly stained, shaped or crooked may be improved by a veneer placed on the surface of the affected teeth. Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic cemented over the front of your teeth to change their color or shape. Sealants are liquid coatings that harden on the chewing surfaces of teeth and are showing a great deal of effectiveness in preventing cavities-even on teeth where decay has begun.

This dentist is not a prosthodontist and won't listen to you. He talks at you and does not do the work himself. His remedy for everything is implants even if you request partial bridges. I have 35 year old bridges that need replacement. He says implants last longer than bridges. I am in my 70's and I think new bridges will last in my mouth during my remaining lifetime. He was very insulting to me.

Very expensive. The first visit was $250 for xrays and an inspection by the Doctor. He recommended I come back for a "special cleaning" . The special cleaning was a 40 minute routine cleaning nothing special only the charge was special $200. I did complain and was given a credit for $200 and was told not to come back.
I feel the dentist charges are getting ridiculous, out of hand.

The dentist is very amicable. I went in for a check-up and cleaning, and Dr. Don sat next to me and walked me through every X Ray he looked at. He made jokes that were in good spirit and not rude or awkward or annoying.
The hygienist made fun conversation and could tell if I was uncomfortable without me even telling her. I think that if I had been going here for my dental work all my life, I would have loved going to the dentist instead of dreading it.
I also got a postcard from them in the mail, which was a nice touch. This office knows how to do customer service.

Dr. don has been my dentist for more than 30 years, and he and his staff are always incredible! Extremely professional and understanding of any needs I might have, and they are great at thoroughly explaining any problems or procedures!
I highly recommend his office for anyone looking for a committed and dedicated oral health team!

I hate pain during dental work... but I always look forward to going to Dr. Don's office. His anesthetizing skills are unbelievable. Give him a try and see for yourself. He's one of the reasons I haven't moved away from Tucson.

Dr. Don has been my dentist for 16 years. There is also a reason that I have been seeing him so long. Wether it was an occasional cavity or cleaning I always feel so welcome when I walk thru the door. Dr Don did a couple of veneers for me and it made a huge difference in my smile. I now have " perfect" teeth. If I ever had an emergency he would always get me in the next day. Superior service and a great Dr. He gets a 10 in my book!
