I have been taking my cars to Palumbo's since I was a kid. My Pontiac G5 as well as my Chrysler 200 and now my Honda Pilot have always been in great hands there. I was in such a serious jam at 5:50pm which was 10 minutes before t e shop was closing. My tire was losing air audibly and there was no way that I was going to make it home which was 20 Mike's away. It went flat in front of Palumbos and I went in praying that it wasn't too late. Tim had an appointment and needed to leave at 6pm and the owner Steve had already had to turn away jobs. Steve looked at me and said let's take a look at the tire. When he saw it he said I can't let you leave like this. Tim had me in and out in 10 minutes. They saved me so much grief. This is a top notch shop and awesome

Let me tell you about Palumbo’s - specifically knowledge and honesty.
I own a GMC Yukon and I put a lot of miles on it with regular back and forth trips to Florida. I bought my tires here and regularly (every 6k) get them rotated.
I started to feel vibration at high speed on the highway so I go in and request balancing and alignment - job done. Still have vibration after another round trip so go back in and request they do it again to resolve this issue - I’m pretty adamant I want another one as I didn’t believe the first time was accurate enough.
That’s when Steve Palumbo walks over

I usually do all automotive repair work at home, but I don’t have the equipment to replace tires. Based on the Google reviews, I went with Polumbo’s. I submitted a tire request online. Steve Palumbo got back to me quickly and had some questions. He suggested I call him to discuss my needs. He then located the tires that I wanted. I scheduled the installation which went well and I’m very happy overall with the experience.

Had my car towed there and the mechanics were nothing but straight forward and honest with me. No jacked up price and I appreciate the time that was spent explaining what was wrong. Definitely a place to take your car for service if you want excellent work at an honest price. Good mechanics are hard to find, but not here

Service excellence now has 3 new names...they are Kyle, Albert and Steve! These guys are life savers. They close at 6:00 pm and even though it was well after 5:00 pm, Kyle said to come in so when I called desperate for a new windshield wiper (that I had just broken at a nearby car wash and it started raining)! Kyle said in the short timeframe they could assess the damage to determine if it was a quick fix or if a new part was needed. If it was the latter they would place the order and fix it on Monday. When I arrived after 5:30 pm, Steve greeted me/gave me a warm welcome. He came out and examined

First, one of the workers name Kyle Is so nice and knowledgeable, he definitely cares about the business.
Now my story: there are two places in Bear that sell General tires near Palumbo's. They both quoted me a price well over $1300. Palumbo's does not deal with General. But I ask Kyle if he could special order a tire that they don't carry and he said yes. They ordered the tire, mounted them and did an alignment totaled $1106. It was $300. under El's Tires and they are a General tire dealer.
I do highly recommend this auto shop..

We were in a real jam and Kyle got us out of it in short order. The dealership had made a mistake in ordering and got the wrong tires. Waiting another week for a replacement order was not an option. Stopped into Palumbo's looking for a "carry out" option and Kyle went to work getting us what we needed and ended up saving us around $600. Kyle saved the day, he was professional, efficient, courteous and just downright nice. Thanks!!

Was a customer for over 10 years. Had my daughter take my car in with a slow leak in the front passenger tire for repair. They said it was unfixable so I needed a new tire. We had it replaced. When my daughter got home, they replaced the wrong tire and I still had the leak. When I told them they replaced the wrong tire that had no leak, they said it did. They wouldn't own up to their mistake. They scammed my teenage daughter because they could get away with it. Avoid at all costs.

I know we live in America where free enterprise is part of our basic freedoms. But my granddaughter brought her car to Palumbo's to fix a flat tire. They charged her $49 to repair a flat tire. I was outranged called to complain and it went down hill. Please remember this when you need a tire repaired.

We were traveling down I95 on our way to Maryland and we heard a squealing noise. Stopped at the travel center and saw rear brake smoking. Figured it was a seized caliper. I knew Palumbos was close so we drove there. On the drive, they said they could certainly look at it.
Arrived and they got it right in. Came back within 30min of arrival with fair quote. Back on the road within 2 ish hours, new caliper, pads and rotor (by choice). I can't schedule an appt and get that fast of service most places. Give them a shot!!!

On Sunday night my tire went flat and my insurance company had it towed... To the incorrect location mind you. I'm sure we had called two different places three times on Monday morning trying to find my car. Finally, the insurance company had gotten it towed to this location. As soon as my car was dropped off I received a call from a gentleman named Colton. Very sweet and seemed sincere. He told me that the had checked my obvious flat tire, but the other two tires were low on tread. He gave me a few prices, but I asked him if he could call my partner because she was going to be handling everything

Had my car hear on several occasions but the place just seems to keep getting worse and worse. Used to provide good service with compeditive prices but not anymore. Recently had to have my car towed to closest shop that was open and decided to give it another shot. While they fixed the problem, I knew that once they saw my car show up being towed I was done.
Take it from me, no sense paying dealer prices when you are not getting dealer quality service.
