Lisa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today? I began my makeup career 12 years ago and have built a name in the bridal beauty business. Two years ago I naturally progressed into permanent makeup. It's my passion! Natural looking Brows & soft smoky eyeliner's are my specialties.
We are a mother-daughter (Mylene) owned salon who started in the Old Irving neighborhood but quickly grow out of our space there. We have settled into an art deco inspired space directly next door to the historic Portage Theater. We love our new neighborhood and all of the exciting new businesses surrounding us.

Lisa Pizzello is a Chicago based Licensed Cosmetic Tattoo & Makeup Artist as well as a Licensed Esthetician. She has been a professional makeup artist since 2006 & has created a name for herself in the bridal beauty business. Lisa expanded her services to Permanent Makeup, specifically eyebrows & eyeliner.
A spotless, lineless, flawless complexion is lying just beneath the surface of your skin-and doctors have found that a classic treatment is the fastest way there. In minutes, acids lift away dead cells and trigger a lovely chain reaction. As that topmost layer is shed, signals are sent to the living cells below to multiply and move up, to increase collagen production, to make more hyaluronic acid-to act younger.
As a bride you likely have an image of how you would like to look on your wedding day. Our job is to consult with you to understand your wishes and help you look your best for your special event. We are also happy to accommodate members of the bridal party. If your location is outside of the Chicago-land area a travel fee may be added to the prices listed below.
If your inquiry is for a wedding, please include your wedding date and number of people needing makeup/hair services and you will be contacted shortly. Your appointments are very important to the crew at The Beauty Crew, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.

I had my wedding make up done by Mylene at the Beauty Crew. When Covid-19 happened, I had to push back my big reception along with my other vendors (including hair/makeup). Lisa, Jenny, and their team did an amazing job for my wedding! Not only are they a pleasure to work with and be around, but they made me and everyone look and feel so beautiful! I had to attend a wedding on a Tuesday and was lucky enough to get in with Mylene! She was able to do my hair AND my make up! I had found other artists charging the same amount without doing my hair and with terrible communication! Mylene did a beautiful job I was so happy. I'm always afraid my skin will look lumpy with too much make up but my skin looked so smooth and flawless! everything held up and my hair looks nice the day after as well. Thanks Beauty Crew!

I had my hair and make up done here for two weddings and I got so many compliments. Lisa also did my wedding make up! She did me and all my bridesmaids and everyone just loved the way it turned out. I can't say enough about Lisa's amazing microblading work! I'm so happy with the results and my makeup routine has been IMMENSELY simplified (no more filling in my brows for 15 minutes or more). Lisa is so kind and patient. She answered a million of my questions and put me at ease before the procedure. The procedure itself wasn't painful and the healing process went by quickly. Totally recommend this place! If you have been considering getting your eyebrows microbladed this is the place to go!!

I went from sparse eyebrows that fell off regulary due to Thyroid disease, to microbladed eyebrows that look like the eyebrows that I had in my younger days!!
I now wake up amazed to full, shapely, beautiful eyebrows that look so natural & realistic that friends are asking me how I got my eyebrows to grow back in so thick. Even with closer inspection the brow strands look so realistic...she's a pro and has mastered the microblading tecnique. Not everyone that is certified has the talent to microblade...Lisa is the best, and you will be beyond happy with her skills.

I recently had my wedding and got my makeup and hair done at The Besuty Crew. It was Lisa's daughter that took care of me (sorry I'm terrible with names can't recall it) but She did a great job!!! I was very happy with the results. She was patient and made sure I was satisfied. She was very attentive and work with me on some modifications I decided to do after the trial.
