Our practice offers complete dental care for children in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We treat children of all ages; however, we do not force any child to do anything they refuse. We postpone of necessary, procedures until that child is more comfortable to allow us the opportunity to treat them.
That is why Dr. Hernandez believes in the age one Dental home. The majority of early caries does not require anesthetic. We work on "kids time", which means that we will not rush, but allow as much time as necessary for the child to be comfortable. Dr. Iris Hernandez welcomes your questions and is happy to provide feedback.

I feel extremely blessed to be a dentist. Working in pediatric dentistry allows me to share my love for children and help others in a field I am passionate about. It has provided great challenges and even bigger rewards. I am proud of all my parents and patients, particularly those with special needs.
At Kissimmee Children's Dentistry, we emphasize prevention and parent and child education. Our team work to ensure that your child's comfort and smile are our top priority. We help parents with preventative dental care and help guide children on how best to take care of their teeth.
We make sure to encourage them to develop positive attitudes towards oral health, such as brushing and flossing, and good eating habits that will continue into adulthood and make their smile last a lifetime.Tooth decay is a progressive disease resulting in the interaction of bacteria that naturally occur on the teeth and sugars in the everyday diet.

I look at the positive reviews for this facility and feel obligated to share the horrible experience my son had with Dr. Hernandez.
I will begin by saying that based on our brief interaction before my son’s exam, I can tell that Dr. Hernandez is a very knowledgeable woman. However, this is only one aspect of her profession as a pediatric dentist. Her website states the following-
“Dr. Hernandez’s understanding of the influence of a child’s temperament and age appropriate expectations creates an environment of trusted safety. A supportive and empathetic approach, along with many years

We had an amazing experience!! The woman at the front desk was very sweet! The dental hygienists were so gentle and made my kids feel comfortable! The dentist knows her stuff and she explains things so well. The office is super clean and they have a cool treasure box for the kiddos as well as coffee for the parents! We were in and out within an hour for 3 kids. No need to look further because this place is awesome for us 👍🏾

Poor rating due to the lack of customer service. I called today to make an appointment for my two children, and the receptionist answering the phones had an attitude. Customer service is everything, and my first encounter with a business sets the tone. I decided to not even waste my time, and called another Pediatric Dentistry in the area and was greeted with exceptional customer service, and professional. It’s sad too, based on the reviews it seems like the dentist here is phenomenal.

Dentist is great when your kids have a chance to see her in the visit, which is not always, but I guess is pretty normal in general, BUT her staff its awful. Not polite, appears to be in bad mood every time that you call. Its clear that they do not have the love as the dentist. So sad of their service, that is why I am moving my kids to a different dentist. So sorry Dr. Iris!!

I found this place at the autism speak website. I was looking for a dentist for my son for a while but since he have autism I was afraid of the treatment he will get. This place is amazing. The staff and the dentist are super friendly and they know how to treat a child with autism. The only thing is that they don't take medicaid. But I don't mind paying out of pocket as long as my son received an excellent service. Thank you so much. Will be back soon
