Amber Hopkins serves clients and attorneys at Otto & Steiner Law, SC and its predecessor Otto Law Office, LLC, as a paralegal and legal assistant. With an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Chippewa Valley Technical College and years of experience, she assists clients working through the difficult scenarios that they are facing.
While completing her Associate of Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology, Alyssa found the legal field a bit more interesting and was soon hired at Otto & Steiner as a legal assistant. She relies on her 15 years of customer experience and three years of leader experience to help Otto & Steiner's clients who are going through unfamiliar situations.
At Otto & Steiner Law, S.C. in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, our dedicated and experienced legal team serves clients throughout Chippewa County in matters regarding family law, such as divorce and child custody, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Founding partner Lauren Otto and Associate Attorney Zachary Jenkins work together to resolve a broad variety of civil claims, from mediation to contested divorce.
Ms. Otto is the founder of Otto & Steiner Law, SC. She's been a licensed attorney in the State of Wisconsin since 2010 after earning her Juris Doctorate degree at William Mitchell College of Law in Minnesota in 2009. She founded her predecessor firm Otto Law Office, LLC in 2011, aiming to provide support and guidance to the residents of Altoona, Eau Claire, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, and surrounding areas in West Central Wisconsin.
Attorney Zachary Jenkins is the newest member of the Otto & Steiner Law, S.C. legal team. As our firm's Associate Attorney, he collaborates with founding attorney Lauren Otto on family law and bankruptcy cases in the Eau Claire area. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from Beloit College before acquiring his Juris Doctor from Marquette Law School.

I would definitely recommend Lauren Otto for family law! She has been a great attorney for me and my 2 daughters. I’m still currently going through a long and rough divorce. Otto was able to have my girls returned to me from there mother, who left one day and went 4 states away. I was able to get physical placement and sole custody! I honestly could not have asked or found a better more caring and professional attorney! I would highly recommend her, to anyone going through a divorce.

Lauren Otto is the best lawyer you can find in this area. When all hope was lost for me she helped and got things done. She cares about her clients. Works with you when money is tight. Shes even working for you when you dont even know that you need her.

If I could give her negative stars, I would! I have had many expirence with lawyers and this is by far the worst attorney I have ever had or heard of anyone having. In one hand she told me there's pretty much nothing she can do for my paternity case, but she'd be glad to represent me. I did all the work for my case getting a parenting agreement and she charged me for it. She charges you for sending you paperwork you already get from the court and takes WEEKS to getting around to your case. She's a waste of money and I'll be making sure everyone knows not to hire her. I retained this law firm because of a TRO/inter-state custody battle. She worked flawlessly with my lawyer from SD and was able to get the job done right the first time and very efficiently. They have a very large collection of knowledge and experience. I would definitely recommend giving them a call on any family law issues.
