Middlebury Office is amazing!!!
I have been with Compaions & Homemakers for just over 4 years and I absolutely love the opportunities I have with this company. There is plenty of room for growth within the company and I get to help our caregivers with their needs and also interact with our older adults on a daily basis. Potential employees walks in off the street and that’s how they find their caregivers. Managers are treated with total disrespect as are care coordinators! Caregivers who call out sick more than 3 times ( even though they are not on salary and work per diem) are reprimanded and sometimes fired!
The pay for caregivers is abhorrent ranging from $10.00-14.00. Caregivers are minimally referenced checked because the company is desperate for help!
Highest turnover in both employees and staff. Stay away unless you don’t truly care about your loved one.

Where do I begin? Complete nightmare for our family. Live in stole a designer handbag and a family heirloom. Wouldnt let me pick her bag up to help her because the missing items were in the bag covered by a towel!!! I drove her home and she wouldnt let me put her address in my GPS.
Most importantly left my family member unattended without coverage.
Never sent us an itemized bill. Companions and Homewreckers are now suiing my disabled elderly immune compromised parent fighting cancer during Covid 19. Expecting her in court soon over an hour drive from her home while she is in tremendous pain with
