As a parent of a struggling teenager or young adult, you often think about ways to help them get through their difficult times. You feel like you keep hitting a wall and nothing works and they continue to struggle with relationships and personal development. You hope it is just a phase they are going through but you know that it is actually a bigger problem.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that specializes in treating children, adolescents, and supporting their families while utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques. If global skills and phrases like 'being a good friend' are hard to understand, I use an analytical approach to help define what are the exact behaviors involved.
Bachelors and Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work with an Emphasis in Children, Youth and Families from California State University, Long Beach. I am very passionate about helping teenagers and young adults live their best life. Adulting is hard and I am here to support you. At the Social Growth Center, I am a PEERS leader and I feel very lucky to work directly with both teenagers, young adults, and with social coaches in the PEERS program.

I have known Dr. Vo for over a decade and have had the pleasure of working alongside her on several occasions. Dr. Vo has worked to hone her skills in a variety of clinical practices and continues to educate herself in order to ensure her patients receive the best treatment possible. She is a caring therapist who creates a safe, welcoming environment for clients. Dr. Vo is a genuine and kind person. She truly enjoys helping others and I am honored to know Dr. Vo.

I've been a neighbor of this office for 2.5 years and have visited frequently. Each and every time I leave feeling as though is hope in the world. Lucy and her entire staff are genuine, caring people who can relate on so many levels, to so many people. Very easy to make a connection and feel comfortable with. The office ambiance is great, relaxing and calming, with a home-like feel. I recommend this place, no question.

I worked with Dr. Lucy Vo for about two years as her clinical supervisor, prior to her leaving to start Social Growth Center. Watching her grow into the amazing clinician she is today has been so rewarding. I have known Dr. Vo for half a decade and she hasn’t changed in her love and motivation to help others. As a student, she somehow found a way to balance leadership roles, conferences, council positions, and school work while still keeping a positive energy that even rubbed off on me. As a psychologist, she still channels that same energy and intellect in helping others, she’s just a lot wiser. I highly recommend her services!
