Services
To promote growth, prosperity, and cooperation within the marine industry in Maine, to encourage and publicize educational opportunities leading to and furthering careers in the marine trades, and to encourage and assist in the development of best practices in the marine industry with a focus on the environment, and health and safety.
The Maine Marine Trades Association is proud of its diverse membership. It encourages companies of all kinds that are actively engaged or support the marine trade industry's activities in Maine to apply for membership. All applications are reviewed and voted upon by the Board of Directors.
Any individual, firm, or corporation primarily engaged in the marine trades industry in the State of Maine may be eligible for regular membership in the Association.The applicant must also have a substantive connection with the boat building and/or repairing or recreational boating segments of our industry and have fundamental interests in common with those of the Association.

Training topics will include engine nomenclature, maintenance charts & descriptions of services, Yamalube lubricants & additives, oil & filter service, water pump service, decarbonizing, valve train maintenance, vapor separator tank service, fuel filter replacement, anodes, timing belts and more. Grant funding is available for qualified individuals.
