Services
Spring 2013 brought to the completion major hull repairs, new teak deck and systems updates to a beautiful Swan 45 deep keel sailing yacht. Over the winter of 2011, our Carpentry and Fiberglass Shops performed an extensive core and outer skin replacement to the starboard quarter damaged in an accident with a Baltic 51.
At Billings Diesel and Marine we are authorized dealers for a wide range of diesel engines, transmissions and marine equipment. If you need a re-power, service on your existing engine, or a warranty repair, you can be sure that our long and close relationships with the manufacturers of the best of marine equipment, keeps us fully up-to-date with the latest developments.
Located on beautiful Deer Island Thorofare, our sheltered marina has been a welcome stop for generations of mariners bound Down East or back home. We are just a few moments by car, or a pleasant 20 minute walk, from the scenic fishing village of Stonington. We have alongside dockage for boats up to 75 feet, fuel, showers, laundry, holding tank pump out, free Wi Fi and 11 massive granite block moorings for boats up to 50 feet.
At Billings Diesel and Marine we have a skilled yard crew and the best of well maintained equipment to haul and store your boat safely. We have three marine railways (two covered) with capacities to 275 tons, a 35 ton boat lift, two Brownell trailers, and two cranes. We can store your boat for the winter inside one of our nine storage buildings or outside protected with shrink wrap.
At Billings Diesel and Marine we have an onsite ship's store stocked with thousands of items for every facet of boat maintenance, staffed by knowledgeable people who will help you find what you need quickly. And when our craftsmen are working on your boat, you can rest assured that they have the right parts close at hand to complete the job in the best and most efficient way.

Huge tonnage travel life - able to haul 250+ tons, this is a serious marine service affair.
The largest private and commercial boats are able to be pulled out here for repairs, upgrades, custom work. They specialize in welding and steel fabrication, engine repair and maintenance.
A large fuel dock allows for easy access on the way through the narrow channel running by Stonington. Diesel and gas available in large quantities. Radio available on channel 16 to request dockage.
Showers and restrooms available too. Parts and supplies, a quick boat ride to downtown Stonington make for a great storm
