I started my finance career with Ford Motor Company, where I learned the importance of scenario analysis in evaluating major financial decisions. Later, as a financial management consultant at PwC/IBM, I helped guide clients through their own decision-making processes. Today, I leverage my years in finance and management consulting to deliver an uncommon experience for every one of my mortgage clients.
I offer my clients a different approach to the mortgage business - one that is informed by 20+ years of professional experience with a focus on clear communication and practical analytics. I started my professional career as an engineer at Ford Motor Company and later transitioned from engineering to finance when I joined Lehman Brothers' Investment Banking Division.
Building a referral-based business has given me the opportunity to focus on developing meaningful relationships with both my clients and business partners. Relationships are built on trust, and often my first step is to invite my clients to meet in person so that we can fully explore the specifics of their individual situations.
Since launching my career in the mortgage business in 2005, I have focused my efforts on helping my clients make the tough decisions - not simply answering the question "How much of a loan can I qualify for?", but instead working with them to think through their full range of options - ensuring the loan program we select is a good fit for their individual situations.
I am a seasoned business professional with a broad base of experience across industries, geographies and cultures accumulated over 20+ years as a management consultant. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the power of maintaining a 'can do' attitude, and the way that my calm, thoughtful approach puts people at ease - allowing me to create an unforgettable experience for my clients.

Merle and his team made the process of refinancing an investment property very easy. They were very clear upfront about the documents that were required and we did not have many follow-up documentation requests that happened a lot with other firms I used in the past. Merle is just a delight to work with! He is so responsive and attentive; everything you want from a great Lender, to take you through of the biggest (and potentially most stressful) purchases of your life! I was already well into my transaction, when it became apparent that I needed to switch Lenders because my other Lender was not performing. But… Merle was happy to step in, and get things going right away on a Saturday night, and accomplished more in a few days than my other Lender did in the whole we were Under Contract on the home! Such a great guy to work with.

We have worked with Christine on our last two mortgages and have been impressed with her work. Our latest loan was to purchase a vacation home. We found a property sooner than we thought we would and she had a lender letter ready very quickly- our realtor was impressed with the speed. She was great at working with the out of town agents, title… company, and the condo HOA. We had an issue with the HOA come up during the transaction and she handled it very quickly. Our rate was locked early in the process so we didn't have to worry when rates were rising. We were cleared to close in plenty
