I was visiting my sister from the DC area, and we decided to go for a post-thanksgiving sister spa day (mani/pedi) at Nail & Hair Care Spa before I headed home. We scheduled appointments for 2pm (on 11/28) and made sure to arrive on time. When we arrived, the reception and check in process were ok. The issue started when I told my nail technician (Kim) that I wanted to do a dipping color instead of a gel manicure. I showed her the color I wanted, and she assured me they had it and thrust 3 color rings in my hand and ushered me into the pedicure chair.

I could cry.
I went here because it's close to my home. I usually go to Halo but wanted to try something different. Now I know I should never cheat on Halo Day Spa.
I wanted a full set and wanted this cool design. The woman who did my nails (Jenny) was very nice and eager to do the design. (Reason for the extra star)
Well.... it went down hill from there.
First, I wanted oval. I kept saying oval oval oval and the final result was her interpretation of "oval". The acrylics are very wide and too thick. They were done very poorly and looks so unnatural. And the design.....

Ok, I think I've found my new spot for self care. They have plenty of chairs and technicians and the shop is very nice. I had a 6 o'clock appointment and I only had to wait a few minutes before they were ready for me. That's a huge plus for me, I hate waiting around if I have an appointment. They did an excellent job on both my hands and feet, and are pretty reasonable as far as cost. Looking through their menue they have a large selection of services to offer. The salon is divided into two parts, a nail side and a hair side. So they can take care of all your self care needs.

So I've been coming here for some years now, but I've been away for a while and made it a point to book with Thai. I realized today that I miss his pedicures SO badly. Thai really takes the time to get you right! He's so nice and always remembers what we talk about. I highly recommend him if you're in the Columbia area.

Mani and pedi for $45, great price for covid when other places are charging more and adding extra fees. They require you to pay tip in cash. I had a great experience here. They let you bring wine and bubbly in. The drying area did not have a fan for the feet. Otherwise it is nice and clean. It is not a spa feeling because it is open and big but I would recommend it.

This spa is very clean, however, every single time when I ask the receptionist how long the wait is, a technician comes to interrupt her and tells me that there is no wait; I'm waiting around 45 minutes. I don't mind the waiting, and I ask how long the wait is because I see that it's busy. I just don't appreciate the technicians butting in and lying about the wait times when it's clear that there is some sort of wait. Speaking of the receptionists, they are all very friendly, but I have noticed that the technicians often come up to the front and boss them

Ann is the technician I've followed the past year and a half to two years. She is so detailed and is very thorough with her manicures. I always run into the issue of finding a technician who will avoid bubbles, rough edges on the acrylics, or even thick acrylic nails. I am always satisfied with Ann's work. Amazing altogether!

I went in this morning for a simple manicure and acrylic nails removal. The costumer service is not good. This lady came to the desk and asks what I needed and when I told her she told me to sit down with one of the techs (Kelly). The tech asked me how I am which was nice but she was getting my skin with the drill as she tried to remove the fake nails. I eventually had to ask her to please avoid the skin more, to which she didn't say anything or apologize. After removing the nails, which was the bulk of the time I was there, she did a very quick manicure. She had another costumer come in for

I have been going to this place for approximately a year for pedicures only. Each time, I have had a very pleasant technician and I have been very happy with the services each one provided.
I like that the staff wear name tags so you know their names and could ask for them on later visits. I have received services from Tye, Jenny, and Miss May and would recommend all of them.
They get very busy on the weekends but I generally visit on a weekday morning when it is very quiet and relaxing.

A person by the name Lee did my nails. I have never seen doing gel in 15 minutes. He didn't properly clean skin around my nails and put tiny layer on my nail, trying to save more polish to the store. No massage for the hands. Little tiny hairs left on my several nails. He left dirt under my nails. Please avoid this place and I will make sure my friends wont go there. The color started to bubble within an hour after he did my nails.

We went on a Saturday so it was obviously there would be a wait. But it wasn't that long. During our wait we were asked if we wanted wine and their white was was sweet and great!
I originally wanted the ombré acrylic nails which isn't in the menu. I was first told it would be $55 even with the almond shape and then it went to $75 and I decided to wait until coming back to Atlanta because I knew it wouldn't be as much.
Lee did my nails and he was slightly rude at times. At times I thought he was joking but then his tone didn't see that he was. He did a good job on my nails

This is my second time here . First time was the worst pedi a friend and myself have ever had . Gave them a second chance ... brought several friends from out of town and only came here because our usual place was full . They gave us a pedi that took 20 minutes barely scrubbed our feet . We left with scuffed up feet ! The man doing my pedi when asked for him to scrub my feet more he said that basically they didn't do that unless I paid more . Terrible pedi and we won't be back .

I'be been coming here for acrylics for a while and have never been satisfied, but it's close to my home so I had not really stopped; however, after my last visit, I will not be returning.
This last visit I got my acrylics filled, and they did an awful job, they didn't push back my cuticles, the edges were messy, and they filed the length down to my natural nail length.
I asked for them a little shortened and after that she seemed frustrated and filed them extremely short. With the fill, the nails were very thick and uneven as shown in the picture. The shape of the file was also
