Through compassionate and expert dental care, we strive to better the health and lives of children, adolescents and those with special needs in and around Richmond. We are grateful to serve our neighbors in this community and strive to lead every individual patient on a path to great oral and overall health through prevention first and intervention second.
Our kid-centered office is designed to be fun and relaxing from a one-year-old's first visit through graduation! All three of our doctors completed additional years of training, beyond dental school, to specialize in providing dental care that's specific to children. Our office environment is not only kid-friendly in design and activities, but also technologically advanced.

Clean the area of the affected tooth. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water or use dental floss to dislodge any food that may be impacted. If the pain still exists, use a cold compress to ease the pain. Do not place aspirin or heat on the gum or on the aching tooth. Children's pain relievers may be taken orally.

Thus dental office is the biggest joke I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. My 10 yr old daughter missed a cpl appointments for reasons none of there concerns and I call back to make her another appointment and they tell me due to appointment history I have to find her a new dental office. Cancel a child from a dentist because she can't make a cpl of appointments. Now tell me that ain't a damn joke

I truly am not one that ever leaves negative responses but I’m pretty appalled by my experience with this office.
As a potential new patient I called and schedule an appointment for both of my children & provided all of our insurance information at that time including policy holders birthday, SSN, all necessary group numbers, employer info and verbally confirmed that they DO accept that insurance provider. I filled all of that info out two more times while filling out their new patient paper work on their website to prep for the appointments.
I got to the morning of the appointment and after

My son chipped his front tooth recently when he was trying to convince his little sister that a piece of gravel he had was "gold". He bit that piece of rock with so much tenacity that it was like he was biting the tail off the devil. He immediately let out a scream of pain so loud that his grandmother in Ohio heard it and started to immediately bake him a comfort butterscotch pie (I joke about the grandmother, but it was loud). My daughter started crying, he started crying, I ran through the house and stepped on a Lego and I started crying. It was a bad day. I called up Bluegrass Pediatric Dentistry

Love this dentistry! Dr. Zak, Dr. Lucas and Dr. Kevin have all been rent I’ve to my child! There is gaming systems up front and cartoons to set the kids vibe, and stickers or a small toy for after each visit. The doctors are all calm and patient.. which is much needed with small children. Scheduling an appointment today and thought o should leave a review :)!
