Our custom work is created through close interaction between our team, our clients, and our designers. We have long-established relationships with all of our designers, which allows for a seamless, open, and exciting process.
As for the "cut - polish - symmetry" slides, the higher up the scale (Excellent to Very Good) this grade is, the more perfectly "made" the diamond is and will shine brighter than a stone with a lower grade in these categories. The laboratory that has graded a particular stone speaks to the authenticity of the information stated on the "certificate."

About 2 months ago I began the process of searching for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. After going to a couple of different places I was impressed with some of which that I saw, but I wasn’t completely sold. For all my jewelry needs, I can honestly say that the only place I will go to is Holsten Jewelers. Gary and staff are warm and friendly and are very accommodating and knowledgeable. I had never been to Holsten Jewelers before. I stumbled upon it during a weekend when they had in the side walk fair in Scarsdale.
My daughter and I walked into the store to see what they had. They were so lovely and showing us pieces of Jewelry that were on sale.
We ended up buying a pair of earrings and I was looking for earrings for my daughters wedding that was coming up.
I worked closely with Carrie who spent so much time trying to bring in earrings from different vendors so I could find just the right pair which I eventually did! I had the personal attention and hand holding I so needed

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Holsten Jewelers in Scarsdale! I live very far from the shop, but on a recommendation I brought my 38 year old engagement ring to be reset. Story time.... money was tight back then and the stone was off color set in white gold. I received snarky comments from nasty "friends" regarding the stone. It took away a lot of the pride I had wearing the ring. Gary helped me design and reset my ring in 18k yellow gold with appropriately colored side stones. A perfect fit band was also made to go with that ring using the side diamonds from the original

Holsten Jewelers is the only place I would go to to buy or design any jewelry in Westchester. Their owner Gary is just incredible and will do whatever is needed to make his customers happy. I won't shop anywhere else for jewelry! My family has been going to Holsten Jewelers for years. Gary even pierced mine and my sister's ears for us when we were little. You won't find better customer service, and because this is a family owned and operated business, I love that I always see familiar faces. Sandi is my go-to person when I need advice on a gift.
