When a retaining wall is installed, it immediately works to stop this erosion from happening. It keeps soil in place and essentially acts as a dam for soil. This is especially important in landscaping beds when you've made a big investment in landscape plants and balancing the nutrients in your soil.

This review is long overdue. Gutierrez Construction completed stone masonry work on my front and back patio and they both look great! They were very accommodating and affordable. The also repaired my steps with new iron railings to truly enhance my backyard. Now if only I can grow some grass and find some nice patio furniture to complement it.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
They first seem interested when you are new but once you tell them what you want done such as needing assistance with planning they disregard and leave you without a response on the cost of the construction. They are unreliable and have terrible customer service I would not recommend.

We are very happy with Rafael and his team at Gutierrez construction! We had some older concrete pillars demolished and removed as well as a drain installed in our driveway with a pop up emitter. They took the time to make sure we were happy at every step of the way. Their communication set our minds at ease. The quality of the work was outstanding. The drain looks like it was always there and it works great. They also took the time to make sure the grass was put back and watered. We recently had a patio installed. They always showed up on time, kept the job site clean, and worked very quickly while producing high quality results.
