Our services are offered on-site with the individual, family, couple, or group at the home, school, office or other location. They are designed to provide each client with a customized program for maximizing his/her potential.

Services
A representative will call within one business day to confirm the request. If you are able to come to any of our offices, an appointment will be scheduled at that time. If you are in need of home or school based service and are enrolled in the Medicaid program, an appointment will be scheduled within two business days.
Many sufferers do not seek help despite the devastating effects of these illnesses. We assist our patients in understanding that their conditions can be relieved through a number of very effective treatments. Looking beyond the symptoms, we treat every client as an individual with a unique personality and set of circumstances that affect their conditions.
Services at Kinghaven Counseling Group are evidenced based and have been shown to be effective for children beginning at 18 months of age who display characteristics suggesting an autism spectrum disorder. A multidisciplinary team of professionals will discuss your loved one's treatment weekly and update recommendations and treatment protocols.
We are looking for Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Professional Counselors (LPC, LCSW), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), in our three locations of Houston, New Braunfels and Hardin County. We especially need therapists who can also conduct therapy in Spanish. We are also currently interviewing Psychologists (PhD, PsyD) experienced in psychological assessments to work in our southwest Houston office.
Since our counseling program is on-site, home, school or other appropriate location our services are available throughout the Greater Houston area. Office Administrative Hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. We cover the Greater Houston, Sugar Land, Cypress and Kingwood Areas. Therapists are also available evenings and weekends.

MY BOYFRIEND COMMITTED SUICIDE IN THEIR CARE ON AUGUST 27th!! He needed help, he told them he needed help and they blew him off!!!! He told them about his struggles and they acted like he had nothing wrong with him and was just trying to get medication. His last appointment with them was 2 weeks before he shot himself. Do not go do not go do not go!!!! ANYONE wanting more detailed information of him and his two year long sessions here please reach out to this post and I will give you detailed information. Unprofessional psychiatric nurse practitioners and do not value your time. It is going on 90 minutes since my child's virtual appointment was supposed to happen and still nothing. I am on the UHC website now looking for a better psychiatric provider.
Also, my son was seen by one of the NP a few months ago. She was horrible. We literally ARGUED the whole hour until I finally said I was done. Unprofessional.
Please behavioral health hospitals stop referring here. I know I will tell both of the behavioral health hospitals I work at to stop referring!

One star because I cannot give 0.
1. Had to send my information in twice since they never "received it" nor did they let me know they never got it.
2. My appointment was almost an hour late
3. The woman I met with kept telling me I needed antidepressants and that I was depressed, which I do not and I am not. I find it highly disturbing that someone will just dole out that diagnosis to someone they literally just met 15 mins prior. She was pushing the meds on me, when I was seeking help for anxiety and I notified her I am already seeing a therapist.

Unorganized, understaffed. They kept cancelling my daughter's appointment the day of because they didn't know how to verify insurance. Once They could figure it out 4 cancelations later then they would schedule and not call at all or hours after virtual appointment was scheduled. That was finally the last straw for me.

Im writing this review after numerous unpleasant experiences with Kinghaven. Almost every single appointment we made was significantly late or they canceled last minute. Our appointment for today was scheduled for 10:15. While it is only 15 minutes late ( as I write this review). As I have not heard from anyone I called and after 30 minutes on hold someone finally answered. Only to tell me that they are running late and that someone would call me. I will update the time when the call was received. While I cant complain about counseling staff, the front line staff is extremely rude, disrespectful

Okay so the people are nice, especially at the front desk, but seriously this place isn't great. a) They are always late. For my in-person visits, I've never waited less than an hour before being seen. b) They are disorganized and didn't show up to a zoom meeting with me and didn't answer my calls. It turns out it's because they double booked the psychiatrist. Didn't even apologize. And finally, c) nobody remembers me or what my case is about. Literally the worst "counseling" group ever I put quotations because it's not like counseling they lie about everything when you get in let me tell you my experience so I'm a teen typing this sorry for my bad grammar... So I had to go counseling and get a diagnosis they said they can do that to see if I have a disorder. I went there but in zoom and thankfully not in real life reading this reviews they say it's stinky and looks like a dumb the restroom god bless I never went actually inside hospital. They get the meds prescribed, WHEN or IF they show up on zoom appointment. Here's what I mean: your appointment may be at 1pm. They will call and tell you there running late with another patient ( how old are they? Haven't their parents or teachers taught them punctuality ? Who the H cares about their other patients, they sure wouldn't care Abt me if I was that patient holding up the time slot for the next patient! Tell the patient holding up the line goodbye and move on to next !) many times they've called and flat out cancelled due to these mysterious slow pokes before us

The location was not hard to find. Parking was free and easy. They took the temperature at the door and receptionist/ scheduler was friendly and informed me of everything. The evaluation was a bit long because the parent has to answer some questionnaires. I felt like I was back in school bubbling answers on a test but other than that everyone was friendly.

I didn't like my psychiatrist but they understood that and with her very thick accent and my profound hearing loss it was a disaster and I felt that she had an attitude now I only see the Nurse Practitioner or NP and I like her! The organization paid for psychological testing through my insurance which was free to me! I like my therapist. He is very nice and I get a long with him. They offer virtual appointments which I really like! It is easy to get to from the freeway on HWY 59 but I take the bus and it stops directly across the street from this organization and the bus pick up is directly

This is absolutely the worst place you could go to or be referred to. If you receive a referral to them ask for a different provider immediately. Don't waste your time. They are never on time and you will receive constant email notifications because your appointment is being rescheduled to a different time without your knowledge. No one ever knows what is going on and they are completely unorganized. I won't even go into detail about how unprofessional the staff is over Zoom calls. Believe the one star reviews. Please choose another provider and save your family the stress and the hassle

They don't show up to your meeting on time, cancel AFTER your meeting time, never communicates, impossible to get in touch with, and SO UNPROFESSIONAL! If I could give them negative stars, I WOULD. I cannot believe that they think it is okay to mess around with people who are coming to get help for then mental illness. YOU ARE MESSING WITH PEOPLE'S MENTAL HEALTH AND IT IS NOT OKAY!!

Believe the 1 star reviews. The doctors and nurses are really really good. Problem is the staff. They will hold up your appointment until you pay. I can't believe they hold patients hostage until you make payment. And the staff is rude. I'm looking for a new office. It's just too much hassle. You have to pay first then screenshot your receipt to them and then wait around for the Zoom link!!! Ridiculous!!!!

All visits due to COVID are ZOOM. I only had 2 appts before I decided to take my daughter else where. Both ZOOM appointments we waited 20-25 minutes, before anyone came on. Once on they were rude. They also, had no idea what my daughter's meds were! My daughter was asked geneic questions that the Nurse practitioner was reading. She wrote down the answers, after 15 min she was done. SUBSTANDARD care!!!

THE WORST EVER! My daughter who is 18 and just graduated from high school was really having some mental issues... almost manic or bipolar. Her senior year was awful. I got her an appointment virtual only and the Dr. Buschra Sadfar wouldn't write her a prescription to giver her something to settle her down. Now I have a teenage age daughter that cries everyday, said she is so stressed, and the doctor did zero but charged us $181. I am contacting Cigna! I see above 1 star out of 16 reviews.

I would give negative 10 stars!!!! Worst place! Have seen bus stop bathrooms cleaner then this place. Very First Lady was nice I liked her. The second lady with dark hair B!+{¥ ---- then after waiting I get told it is a 2 hr wait!!! And that is their norm. Then don't make my appointment three hrs before u can see me. Ok then I finally get told door number 8. I look at her and she looks irritated she has to point down the hall! (Honey I had no idea where anything was or who anyone was)
