Services
Dr. Bita Bagheri is a Board Certified Dermatologist whose passion is treating peoples' skin conditions. While cosmetic dermatology is woven into the fabric of our culture, there are myriad skin issues people have that require proper medical treatment. Dr. Bagheri is one of the best Orange County medical dermatologists as she stays on the cutting edge of skin treatments for skin cancer, acne, rashes and hair loss prevention.
Acne, or pimples, happen when your hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. This usually leads to blackheads, whiteheads that can appear on the face, forehead, chest, upper back (aka backne) and shoulders. While acne is particularly common for both male and female teenagers, we're seeing more female patients in their 30s through 50s coming in for treatments.
Did you know that your skin is your body's largest organ?! Given the amount of sun we get living in Southern California, in addition to daily sunscreen application, Dr. Bita Bagheri highly recommends annual full body skin exams starting in the early teen years. Between junior guards, swim team, playing golf, gardening, tennis, and just sitting in the car, we get a lot of sun exposure.
Sun-related skin pre-cancer, or Actinic Keratosis, are scaly growths that commonly appear on fair-skinned people who live in places with constant and strong sun like Southern California. Research that these patients have a history of repeated sun exposure and/or frequent sunburns. These DNA-damaged growths are scaly in nature and typically occur on body parts that are exposed to a lot of sun: face, tops of hands, ears, and balding scalp.

Please avoid going to this doctor. She is a dishonest businesswoman rather than a dermatologist. In my last previous visits, Dr. Bagheri spent less than 2 minutes (yes, 2 minutes) talking to me to see what was going on. I was following her in the hallway to share my concerns. The only thing that she cares about is money. She suggested a procedure (removing 3 pillar cysts from my scalp) with a surgent in her office and scheduled me for January. I asked for the codes they are going to to charge my insurance to estimate how much I am going to pay out of my pocket; they provided two codes.
