Definitely wouldn't recommend reaching out to these guys about buying a boat. First, they're listing a boat for $49,000 that's only worth about $25,000. The same boat that they're listing sold for less than $28,000 two years ago. When I was talk about putting in a offer at book value he cut me off and tried to start arguing with me. Don't call unless you're willing to pay double the book value for your boat and don't sell with them unless you're okay with them turning down reasonable offers so they make more commission.

CFB Marine sold our 55 foot Chris Craft Roamer within a year (that is pretty good for a older 55 foot boat. We had it on the market in Northern California for about 3 years to no avail.
Once our 55 foot was sold, CFB helped us fine a 32 foot Silverton that was well priced.
We were pleased with the service from CFB.

Tried them via email in response to an ad they placed in Yachtworld. They did not respond. Saw a similar ad in Craigslist with only a phone number provided, so called to follow up. The broker answered with a tone of indifference, which devolved into hostility by the time I gave up on the call. They post very little information in their ads, grow agitated from any questions, and have little knowledge of the boats they offer. A confusing & disappointing experience.

I must say, these guys are the best boat brokers in San Diego! I worked primarily with Ryan at the Chula Vista Marina, and he was incredible! I was looking for a live aboard boat - also my first boat. He was so responsive and knowledgable! I asked him about a million questions, and between him and Bruce, I always got an answer within a day. They told me every step of the buying process up front, so there were no surprises or unexpected expenses along the way. These guys are rock stars! If you get the privilege of working them, I'm sure you'll be very happy and wow-ed by their amazing
