The doctors at Spring Spine Center combine over 3 decades of experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries. Our practice is somewhat different from many chiropractic clinics in that we subscribe to a more conservative and medically accepted approach that is supported by science and research. We specialize in the treatment of disc injuries.
Whether related to everyday activities or more serious causes such as sports injuries or car crashes. We are well integrated into the medical community and receive referrals from many local medical doctors including neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care and pain management physicians. Dr. Steven S. Smith, owner of Spring Spine Center, has been a licensed Chiropractor since 1995.

Services
Dr. Steven Smith has served the northwest Houston area since 1995. He believes in fulfilling three important obligations to each of his patients: Make an accurate diagnosis, explain the condition in a manner in which the patient can understand it and review all the treatment options available for that condition including referrals to other providers for evaluation and/or co-management.
Dr. Angela Kropik has been practicing chiropractic since 1995 and has been in the Spring/Klein area since 1997. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts in Dance. It was through her love of dance that she became introduced to chiropractic care. She went on to graduate with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 1995.

Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.
Most chiropractors regard the elimination of symptoms as the easiest part of a persons care. If all that the chiropractor does is to reduce the pain and stop there, the chances of the condition recurring are much greater. In order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it is necessary to continue receiving care even though your symptoms are gone.

Dr. Kropac is a great chiropractor. Please beware this place will overcharge you. Previously, Dr. Kropac only charged the approved amount by the insurance company. Now, this place charges more than the approved amount. They were rude about it when you discussed the charges. They did not verify the approve amount with the patient prior to the visit. Please be aware.

I have seem Dr. Smith for many years and have benefited greatly. His staff is wonderful and it is such a caring environment. He will spend however much time is needed to explain things to me and I have never once left without getting adjusted. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews. I have always had a positive outcome from manipulations that I have received in their office. I have seen Dr. Kemp as well and had an equally good outcome. I would highly recommend either Dr. Stephen Smith or Dr. Jessica Kemp.

I went to Spring Spine Center for treatment after a car accident. I liked that they were open late and that they put a lien on the auto insurance of the responsible party, so that I was not having to pay for my visits. The nurses were nice and the facility was clean, but that's where the positive review ends.
At my first visit for evaluation, within 30 days of my accident, Dr. Navarro stated that I likely had cartilage damage in my spine and would likely need a MRI. He was VERY adamant that I hire an attorney, stating that costs would get expensive and if I had an attorney then I wouldn

I don't have much experience with chiropractors but had been suffering with serious back pain since and injury in September 2015. I went to see Dr. Kemp-Park after exhausting my efforts with my primary care physician and physical therapist. Dr. Kemp-Park was able to look at my MRI from October and correctly diagnose what the radiologist had missed before. She was incredibly knowledgable and compassionate. I would highly recommend her!

I tried the decompression for a little over a month and felt a little relief, but they claim that the herniated material is suppose to go back in, this is a complete lie. I don't recommed this place for disc herniations, it may help if you have a disc bulge. Its also a little over priced which is not worth it if it doesn't help out a lot. They staff are nice which is why I it a 2 star.
