Services
Being a pediatric dentist means taking care of the little children. At the end of the day, my goal is to have treated each patient with love and respect, and to ensure your child has had a positive dental experience. As the years have gone by, my love for the specialty has only deepened. I absolutely love the opportunity to meet and care for infants, children, adolescents, and children with special needs.
A visit to the dentist can cause anxiety - not just for children, but anyone. At our office, we do our best to create a friendly, warm, and fun environment for your children, not only to create positive experiences at the dentist when they are young, but for their entire lives. At Shoals Pediatric Dentistry, PC, Dr. Robin E. Lents and her team understand we must develop and maintain an encouraging and trusting connection with every patient.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children's needs, and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.
We recommend you make an appointment to see us as soon as your child gets that first tooth. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children be seen by six months after the first tooth erupts, or at one year of age, whichever comes first.
All dental specialists (pediatric dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and others) begin by completing dental school and continue their education with several years of additional, specialized training.During training in the field of pediatric dentistry, Dr. Lents gained extensive knowledge and experience in treating infants, children, and adolescents.

As a medical worker myself , I have never In my life heard of such rude , uncaring, hateful employees. I work , so my sons father took him along with his wife. My son was strapped down ( has not had a papoosa board signed since he was like 4 ) so tight he told them crying it was too tight. They didn't stop. He cried for help before , during , and after the procedure. They told my 8 year old son with severe anxiety that he could not get released from the papoosa board until he stopped crying. That no one was coming back there with him. I believe this place is not safe in my opinion for anxious children
