Very friendly and helpful. I will drive 45 minutes to take my scrap there before I go anywhere else from here on out. Don't seem greedy and gave me the best price out of 6 or 7 other places I called first who's prices were about 15 cent less than what Richmond recycling paid me. See ya tomorrow!!

If you don't know what you're doing, you will be ripped off entirely. I brought 200 pounds of metal (though the scale bounced between 200 and 220, with 220 being the more prevalent number) and received a grand total of $6 for all of it. I figured that, even though I'm new to this, it would be no issue because the individual I came with frequents the business to drop off cans. Instead, I was directed to place everything in the steel pile. I wouldn't be writing this, had I known that most of the weight I dropped off yesterday was aluminum, including an aluminum engine. Great place to recycle all you metals, batteries and several other recyclables items. Drive over scale or pull up to dock and off load your materials get a pay slip and walk up to their pay machine and get paid!
