Monique Smith began the company back in 2018 as a woman-owned small business, with a vision of providing her local Chesterfield community with a convenient scrap metal recycling facility. Today, USA Iron and Metal has expanded to two locations and continues to serve as Chesterfield's only scrap metal recycling company.
USA Iron and Metal provides an array of services from our retail yards to our roll off container division. With our extensive fleet, we have the versatility to provide pickup and drop off services to meet the customer's schedule and needs. Performing safely with the customer in mind is the foundation for USA Iron and Metal to continue to provide quality service.

This company is awesome and deserves your support and business. First, have you seen the GIANT American flag waiving at the end of Rt 288 near I-95? That flag was erected on THIS company's property, USA Iron and Metal. For that alone, I salute them.
My family grew up with a recycling mentality. We knew the importance and value of recycling materials instead of just throwing them away. As I became a locksmith, it was natural for me to want to recycling old locks (ones I couldn't restore) instead of just tossing them in the trash. I first went to a small recycler in Richmond and was outright insulted
