Baron's is one of the longest-standing, most respected anchor businesses in downtown Westfield, and I've been a customer here as long as I've lived in the area, which is most of my life. The lead pharmacist knows me personally after so many years, and I'm on a first name basis with him as well.
It pains me to write this review, but something disturbing happened. My wife's doctor wrote her a scrip for a necessary prescription medicine, and not only didn't they have it in stock, nor were they willing to order it as they would otherwise do, but they repeatedly insisted

I needed something time-sensitive and I called to several chain and local pharmacies. Baron’s was the ONLY one that actually answered the phone so I could speak to a live human at the actual store. They were able to accommodate my request within the day. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service I received. It’s rare these days. THANK YOU!!

Great service and prices on my Rx. A wide selection of other services for retail and package drop off that makes it very convenient. Web site needs a little bit of work to have the estimated time when the Rx is ready. This is one of the few remaining old time Rx that doesn't charge extra for home delivery.

I came here with my daughter to send a fedex package and buy some candy. The older woman at the candy counter, who had no customers, was so irritated and nasty by my simply asking where to go for fedex that we left as soon as I gave my package to another woman, who was very nice. No candy. Womp womp.

I am very very sad for this 2 star rating after giving them 5 stars for all the years I have been a customer They may be under new management, they may be understaffed- I don’t know what’s going on I call and ALWAYS am put on hold, listening to an automated recording 4-5 times ..THEN (frequently) I am disconnected and must call back and must listen to these recordings again, and again.... I called at 9am today wanting to know the cost of the medications

I received my first Moderna vaccine through Baron’s last Thursday. The pharmacist and assistant were both very friendly and helpful.
Additionally, it was one of the least painful shots I have ever received. I chalk this up to the pharmacist being very good at shot giving. I have friends who have received Moderna and the shot hurt-I really think it matters who administers it (in terms of how much it hurts).
I will trust the pharmacist at Baron’s for any immunizations I need in the future. I’m very pleased.

When I was a kid (when dinosaurs roamed the Earth) and my mother said "We're going to the Drug Store" it did not mean we were going to Walgreens or even Duane Reade. Generally it meant we were going to some local mom and pop store where prescriptions and vitamins took a back seat in my mind to all the OTHER stuff the store had to offer. Braon's Drug Store took me back to those days.
Located in downtown Westfield (across the street from the Rialto Theater), this store is a little bit of everything. Sure, there is a section with a Pharmacist and various health related items

One of my favorite Westfield businesses. The pharmacists are professional, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and easy to speak with. The store is filled with items you never knew you needed until you need them and you have very little time to shop. There are unique hostess gifts, great children's toys, like "lacing cards", matching card games, paper dolls, and Lego sets. Many cosmetics, bath items, perfumes, and greeting cards! This is not the full list. I love this store and shop there....a lot. No, I don't work there.

I went to Baron's drugstore to look for a gift for my friend's birthday. While there I dropped a small glass dish with a spoon (as I only had one hand to lift the bowl as I was holding my young 8 month old in my other hand) and it shattered on the floor. Immediately I apologized and asked how much I owed them for the dish. The owner of the shop gave me glaring looks, wouldn't talk to me, and when she did gave me extreme attitude. The young girl ringing me up for the bowl I just broke seemed upset that I was paying as she knew it was an accident and the other woman with her seemed

I will never go into this drug store again! My son has the flu and I was told by his Pediatrician that Tamiflu is sold out in most places but that Baron's has it. Well, I found out why when I got there...this prescription is typically $140 at most other pharmacies, but Baron's just tried to rip me off by charging me $244!!! Don't get scammed by these people just because you may have to wait a day or two for your medications! This is not right! I am just trying to do what is best for my 8 year old son...I am a single mom trying my best and it is businesses like this that should

Indépendant pharmacy and one of the only small town old fashioned places left. I have been filling my prescriptions here since I was born and my parents before me. The pharmacists have known me forever and show care and concern each time I enter the store. small town store, good service and friendly employees.

I used to think highly of this independent store and that it exemplified small town family values and service. Recently though I've seen the way that the owner has treated the employees, including apparently firing a long time employee (over a decade there) via the phone instead of in person, and have to seriously reconsider patronizing this store.
