The Tao specialty where therapists use their feet to deliver deep sustained compression over the body's largest muscles groups while feeling very luxurious! The therapist uses an overhead bar support system (as shown) to deliver long smooth sweeping gliding strokes allowing for the body's natural alignment.
Reduce sensory input and just float away into deep relaxation semi-submerged in warm supersaturated salt water embraced by the floatation tank. The last 20minutes of your float will be just bliss! A 90min float is IDEAL. However "doing nothing" is surprisingly harder than it sounds. Enjoying the full benefits of floating can take some practice.

Truly an incredible experience every time! This is my go to place when I want to 'treat myself' and really feel relaxed and decompressed. Such an amazing small business, they really pride themselves on quality and making their clients happy! Vivian is so responsive and really cares about her clients and the staff at Tao. Their customer service rocks! Brought my boyfriend here for the tank and a couples massage. Everything was perfect and they accommodated us even though I was late and missed my reflexology appointment. They moved it around to after our couples massage (while bc was in tank) so I could still have it. Boyfriend felt like a million bucks after everything. Said the massage was wonderful but the tank really helped him decompress.

Had an amazing massage today from Vivian. I had intense sholder pain and was here once before for my lower back issue this Spring. I remembered the incredibly thorough and unmatched skill level and the "true craft" that I was provided then by Vivian, so I called and I was very lucky there was a last minute cancellation today . First time float was better than amazing!!! I definitely recommend more than 60 minutes. As a first timer the staff was extremely helpful and insightful. I wish I lived closer to go more often but I will try to arrange a trip soon and make sure to book my appointment. Amazing staff, service, and an impeccable clean ambiance at a fair price. What more can one ask for? Such a lovely experience and necessary treat!

I first reviewed Tao Massage nearly two years ago (June 2015) and gave the place 5 out of 5 stars after my first visit ... I'm updating now February 2017 because I want to give this place a TEN out of 5 stars if I could!

Very nice massage place, that also has a sensory deprivation float tank.
Friendly nice service. Very calming atmosphere.
Wifey loved her massage.
I did the float tank, it was a cool experience. Very relaxing. Like floating in outer space. It was surprisingly un-claustrophobic, the water has extra buoyancy because of the super saturation of Epsom salts. they have a little light in there, when you close the hatch, the light is on, and you can reach up and turn it out. The neck pillow was helpful.
My one gripe is that the liquids in the the shower afterwards were not labeled, so I didn't know

I never write online reviews but I felt compelled to write one about Tao Massage. I was experiencing neck and shoulder pain. I had several weeks of physical therapy and was not getting any relief. My co-worker told me to go to Tao massage, specifically to see Andreas. I finally listened and booked a deep injury recovery massage. I have to admit getting a massage was out of my comfort zone. The moment I met him I felt comfortable. After talking to me for just a few minutes he made me feel relaxed and at ease. He is totally committed to healing and getting to the root of the problem. Tao is an oasis in this hectic world. I've been twice (once for the float tank and again for the tuning fork therapy). Both sessions were heavenly.
I'd gladly go as often as possible if I lived in the area. The staff is wonderful. Their customer service, before I ever stepped through the door, was too notch.
I would recommend them to anyone interested in total relaxation and pampering. I will be back for special visits!
