A St. Paul baker named Ed Durin once owned Dorothy Ann Bakery. His wife was also his business partner, waiting on customers with a cheery smile.

Once again got my son's birthday cake there he had a Halloween theme since his birthday is October. Cake was great really good chocolate cake. I got the taco cookies really good. They're very nice. I definitely get more cakes and cupcakes from them.

I couldn’t be happier with the gender reveal cake they created for me! I called two other bakers, one never got back to me and the other couldn’t take my request on such short notice! These guys manage to squeeze me in and get it done within 24 hours! And I’m so glad they did :-) not only was the cake beautiful, It was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, fluffy and extremely moist! I really feel like they care about their customers. They took such attention to detail while taking my order and really seem to care! They made it all the more exciting.

Hired them for a catering job. The food was delivered on time and very good. However, the CAKE WAS FABULOUS!!! And the brownies were very delicious as well. I will definitely think of them as a source for birthday treats in the future. I would suggest giving them a try before stopping in at some of the other more expensive (and definitely not as good) specialty shops in the area.

We had Dorothy Ann do the cake and small desserts for our wedding. Not only did it look beautiful, but it was all delicious! The cake is exactly what I asked for! It was all set up before we got there. There wasn’t one dessert left, as the guests LOVED them! What a treat! We’ve been customers for a while and I am SO happy with their service! Thank YOU! I want to thank everyone at Dorothy Ann Bakery for helping to make my husband’s 40th birthday special by making a fabulous cake! I drew a detailed photo of how I wanted the cake to look and they nailed it! The cake was so tasty, beautifully decorated and the customer service was fabulous, especially when I contacted them a week before to make some changes. They also made our wedding cake over 10 years ago, so I knew I would be pleased again. Thank you so much for helping to make our special occasion more sweet. 🤗

Definitely not a place I will be returning to! Customer service is at an all time low!!! Three times in a row-- the customer service got worse each time I had to interact with them for my order. When I placed my order in the store, the person talking with me was rude, short, and distracted by other employees goofing off in the back of the store. When my son-in-law went to pick up the cake, they couldn’t find it, having a rude tone when speaking to him, claiming that he has the name wrong on who the order was under and insistent that they don’t have an order for him… Only to magically
