We offer some of the most spacious apartments in southern California. My niece and myself placed a family member here about 3 months ago.I had been her Primary Caregiver prior to a series of events that made it evident that she needed supervision that I was unable to provide.
The staff here is excellent, and very caring. I no longer have to worry about her not taking her medications, or worse, taking too much, and the food is served in an attractive way. I've had lunch with her a few times, and the food is delicious. The staff makes sure she is ready for her appointments, and are always willing to help. The maintenance crew is friendly and caring, and always willing

I am sending a big thank you and appreciation for all the hard work and caring of the VDM and memory care staff during this difficult time. The staff and care givers have really gone out of their way to care for my mom and keep us informed. They have taken a lot of phone calls, face to face/zoom and even some patio visits. It has been very hard for me not to visit my mother but the constant communication with her and about her has helped. Thank you so much, Ellen Garcia and family.

July 1st. Was moving day for mom and dad. So very happy we choose VDM for their needs. It's family oriented. The staff are polite, caring, helpful, especially Reggie. I thank Reggie from my heart for providing all the help we needed to make this move smooth as posible for my parents. Love all the interior deco..The patio is AWESOME and inviting for relaxation, Sunbathing and just injoy the outdoors. Im sure mom and dad will love to CALL VDM THEIR NEW HOME..

I think I am in heaven on Earth! I just moved to Vista Del Mar Senior Living (although I am not a senior, but am disabled) only 2 weeks ago and can honestly call this wonderful community my new home. The whole staff has been wonderful, starting with the tour and admission process with Suzette, the Assistant Administrator. I was greeted with a… highly energetic hello at the reception window by their Activity Director, Reggie. After an impressive tour of this beautiful facility, I sat down with my son and Suzette, went over the admission process and felt comfortable and non-rushed when going

Unfortunately, my dear grandfather needed more care than we could provide him in his home and we had to find a suitable home for him. After researching and visiting 9 other facilities, I settled on Vista Del Mar.
I chose it because:
The staff seemed very caring and warm
Amazing amenities and events for the residents (restaurant, bar, courtyard, music, prayer group, movie rooms, pets allowed and more - like a resident dog named Jake who was very calm and loving!)
He was able to have his own (very nice sized) room (with balcony!)

Had a friend with a brain tumor there for 5 months. The staff was very attentive, especially towards the end. I was always able to talk to someone and address any questions I had. The facility was clean and quiet every visit. I would recommend this facility to any of my loved ones. Thanks to Vista Del Mar for his care.
