As a General Dentist since 2007, Dr. Hubis has always taken pride in far exceeding the continuing education requirements for licensure. His studies have taken him to many parts of the United States and a few foreign countries. He and his wife have two dogs: Mira, a French Bulldog and Hershey, an Australian Labradoodle.

Dr. Matthew Hubis attended the College of Charleston and the Medical University of South Carolina, both in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. He is a current member of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington where he continues his quest for knowledge to solve complex dental problems for his patients.

The office staff, hygienist, and dentist all exceeded our expectations! This is not a “get you in and get you out” dental practice. The office staff was very friendly and helpful in scheduling, answering questions and making our first visit a pleasant experience. Our hygienist, Taylor, was attentive and thorough. Are used to be dental phobic from a bad childhood experience but that does not even come in to play at River District Smiles. From the front door to the checkout it is a relaxing and believe it or not even fun time the girls are so good at what they do and so kind. And don’t get me started on Dr. Matthew or Dr. Emily. They have equipped their office with the highest tech to be able to do procedures in one day that used to take weeks and they’re done right the first time. I love this dental practice so much! Dr. Hubis and his team go above and beyond to make their patients feel at home. There's nintendo systems for kids while they wait and tv's in each exam room. They are always on time and efficient. Their at home whitening system that they offer is the best I've tried! When I go I feel like I'm hanging out with friends!!

Dr. Matthew Hubis and his team are absolutely amazing! I’m so glad I was referred to them when recently moving to the area. Dr. Hubis is so meticulous, but always makes sure to check in to make sure you’re doing okay. Taylor was my Hygienist and she was cracking me up the whole time I was with her for my cleaning. Outstanding dentistry! The staff is super friendly. Both of my appointments have been spot on punctual. Plus the hygienists and Dr. Matt are excellent at their craft. I was really impressed by my initial visit and the technology/equipment that they use. It was nice to sit down with the Dr. and be able to see the condition of my teeth on a screen and discuss options. My second visit was just as great as the first. I am a new patient at River District Smiles, and if I could give them more than 5-stars then I would. The RDH, Taylor, was amazing, personable, and enthusiastic. Also she was thorough with explaining the x-rays and answering all my questions. Dr. Hubis also makes you feel comfortable, explains everything he is doing, and lays out a plan for future dental work.
