Doctors of Optometry (O.D.) are the primary health care providers for the eye. They specialize in the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as the diagnosis of related systemic conditions. Optometrists must be certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and licensed by the state regulatory board.
Insurance Plans Accepted We are providers for numerous vision and medical insurance plans, including: VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera, Medicare/Medicaid, BCBS, United Healthcare, and many more. One of the most challenging billing issues in an optometric office is whether we should be billing the examination towards a patient's medical or vision plan. Your medical insurance may cover a medical eye problem, but not pay for the exam if it is a "routine" eye exam.
If you have a medical problem (eye infection, corneal disorders, diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma (suspect), dry eye, double vision, etc.), your visit is considered a medical problem and can be billed to your medical plan.Many medical plans are no longer paying for eye exams because of a diagnosis of blurred vision or a headache.

Dr. Rosado is now full time here at Commerce Vision Group. Originally from Puerto Rico, she has 25 years of experience in the ophthalmology field. Certified Optometrist and specializes in prevention, diagnosis and medical treatment of most ocular pathologies. Including Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma and Diabetes as well as glasses and contact lens fittings.
Order contact lenses by calling 706.335.7335. Contact Lens prescriptions are valid for one year from your examination date. Commerce Vision Group provides our patients a significant discount on many different contact brands. We offer shipment to your home or work address. Soft Lenses These lenses are comfortable to wear and must be replaced monthly, weekly or daily depending on the type you choose.

Great, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff! Even the eye doctor is friendly and concerned for your comfort. Knowledgeable staff knew just what i wanted and helped me pick out amazing frames. Lots of up to date frames to choose from. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I've been coming to Commerce Vision for 30+ years!

I don't remember an eye dr asking so many questions about my vision needs (how far away do you hold a book when reading, what about when you're working, reading music for piano, etc) Dr. Rosato is awesome. Jess is an absolute gem when it comes to selecting & fitting your new glasses (and even adjusting old ones)! Sorry I know I'm leaving others out but everyone was just wonderful! Excellent customer service which is a rarity these days 🎯💯

I took my mother to this location to get her eyes examined. Yes, we had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment but it was well worth it. The doctor was extremely friendly and even more extremely patient with my mother and her inability to hear very well. He quickly figured out what my mother's needs were and gave us a plan of action. I will be finding out if my insurance covers going to him. He's worth it!!
